P6 or memoriate durante as a fashion accessory could be interesting since it's mostly the standard person model with extra bits stuck on for their power up.

jokes aside i would really like her eastern outfit. still dont get why a plain simple kimono like that one wasnt the first glam they implemented in stormblood.

This too. FFXIV is the only japanese fame I've played where kimonos weren't a glam/skin. All the other games would have a different type of kimono or yukata every year for special occasions like the new year. And we can't even get a base one.

We do have multiple styles of yukata from the Moonfire Faire at least. I would guess that maybe the long kimono stretches too much if doing anything besides standing or walking slowly.

This is true but it's not like a regular yukata. That looks like a short haori, more than a typical yukata. I never implied that we didn't have a yukata in the game. I own one so I am aware they exist. I was talking about the lack of kimono and variety for both kimono and yukata. And as I've mentioned before other games will create new kimono and yukata designs every year for special occasions. I was more expressing my surprise that one of the biggest japanese games out didn't do this as well.

I think the closest thing to a full length kimono in the game might be the Yakaku set from Tataru's EW questline, and even then that gives more of a ronin vibe, rather than what a "normal" day-to-day kimono should.

You can sort of get a Kimono look with currently existing things... But it does involve a few weeks of waiting and some cash shop...

For mages and samurai you can use the Asuran or Nameless hakama, respectively, and physical DPS all have a version of the Rakshasa hakama.
