    Not unless there is promise that the new merchants that come after will have regulations enforced upon them that prevent false advertising and other unwanted mean-merchant related things like overpricing and undercutting.

    It would be equally bad if 2 merchants kept lowering their prices constantly to be the lowest, and for one merchant to hold a monopoly on the orange market and put a huge price tag on them.
