me being a green/blue in Bozja x)This is about where I am.
I actually popped back into Bozja earlier this week (one of the streamers I watch, Caffeinated Dad, was heading into it for the first time) and immediately got roped into a CLL. With the wrong actions assigned for a healer, oops.
I forgot how much I genuinely enjoyed the grind there. I finished ALL the Bozja weapons, I had like 7 DPS shields, and I was only missing one set of field notes - that's actually why I stopped going in, I was so discouraged and burnt out from having to solo the fire mage FATE chain trying to get the last thing I needed to be done with the zone forever.
We still have the weekly achievement for Eureka, and i still go back to do it weekly, and as you said the adjustment Eureka make it more "dorable"I often see people trying to push this narrative that no one likes Eureka and that Bozja was better, but Bozja is dead and Eureka is still very active despite being older content. Eureka might have been too grindy on release but with the adjustments that it received over time, it's arguably the best MMO content in the game.
Bozja, pretty much if you grind the items you want, there little to no reason to go back.
Before the Eureka "upgrade" i would consider it is very poorly implement and probably worst experience, the "upgrade" make it more enjoyable than Bozja. a good sign that at least Dev putting some though into the contents
I hope it requires players to work together. I like Eureka more than Bozja because the people in there coordinate the FATE spawns and whatnot. In Bozja you just solo mobs until you get teleported to a CE where everyone runs around doing whatever, repeat. Only the raids had moments where it felt like you actually had to communicate with others and even then they weren't that frequent.
I'm expecting it to be mostly like Bozja except with a leveling experience more like Eureka, although not as dangerous to explore as when Eureka originally released.
7.25 will give us the first zone, likely split into 3 regions and a 48-man raid zone similar to Castrum Lacus Litore.
7.45 will give us an actual 24-man raid with a 48-man Savage version, just like Delubrum Reginae.
7.55 will be another large zone with a raid, similar to Zadnor and the Dalriada.
I personally really enjoyed the loss of exp or mettle on death. It gave an actual reason for people to learn the mechanics instead of just brain-dead play and dying all the time. If you died a whole lot and couldn't progress, it was essentially the game telling you to get good, then you can progress.I once stepped into one of the other field operations (can't remember which one). It sucked, so I left and never returned.
I will take a look at the new one, but when it's like the others, I doubt it will entertain me longer than the other one (I just can't stand game modes, where the game takes something away from me when I die - exp, equip, whatever).
Everyone is free to their own opinion on the matter of course. So it's not meant to bash you and your skills.
I just think we need more systems that actually promote players improving.
As for ocult crescent, I've learned to go into new content with 0 expectations. I'm hoping they improve upon the old formula but I'm also not expecting them too.
I feel that the reality is that it doesn't really happen though, realistically, you can get rezzed as many times as you need, and either go through with minimal Mettle loss that is always offset by a single FATE afterwards, or outright no elemental XP loss, people who are bad, unwilling to improve, and all too willing to burden others will remain bad, unwilling to improve, and all too willing to burden others.
The sole skill issue check in either Eureka and Bozja is BA(and also DRS but DRS doesn't have any story connection), and even then BA will boil down to "follow basic callouts on Discord", so long as you don't die you will clear, since most decently packed runs aren't don't ever get close to hitting the various enrages.
Im very interested in it thematically and gear wise, with it seemingly being War of the Magi related. A welcome reprieve from all the sci-fi trash.
It really depends if the instance is populated or not. When the content is new and it's booming, nah it really doesn't matter. But when you go back to an older zone later in the expansion (specially in the morning), that shit is dead.I feel that the reality is that it doesn't really happen though, realistically, you can get rezzed as many times as you need, and either go through with minimal Mettle loss that is always offset by a single FATE afterwards, or outright no elemental XP loss, people who are bad, unwilling to improve, and all too willing to burden others will remain bad, unwilling to improve, and all too willing to burden others.

A lot of skirmishes or CE's are actually deadly (not to savage raiders, but to more casual players). Red chocobo says hi.
After Cosmic Exploration, I'm not expecting much
