Only thing I'm looking forward to this expansion and I doubt it will retain me for that long.
Though I could always be disappointed that wouldn't surprise me at this point.

I try to not get over-excited, a lot of people are counting on this thing to be the "thing that saves the expansion", but honestly that's putting too much pressure on a single piece of content that otherwise might just be simply fun without all that jazz.
The Moon thing was pleasant because I liked looking at other players do stuff together and I hope this gives me similar vibe.
I can only speak for myself of course, but I am on the camp of preferring Eureka to Bozja in terms of mechanics, a huge element of it is that there is actual progress within the game mode, and that I genuinely feel strong while in there, which makes all the effort I put into it feel like it paid off, full elemental bonus lets you do stupid things like being able to handle damage better than a no-bonus Tank as a DPS, which I am so there for.

On the Eureka v Bozja part. To me, Eureka makes me more involved in the zone compared to Bozja.
Currently doing all Eureka weapons on the Pagos stage, I want to do all the fates to get crystals and some extra light. So I'm going all over the zone, working to spawn these fates with other players. I could also kill mobs for exp, making the overworld mobs have more meaning than just fate spawners. Not many killed mobs en-mass on release, opting for the fate trains, but with the challenge log it's nice if you need extra exp.
Compared to Bozja where it's just sitting in the final part of the zone, running between fates as they spawn. The fates themselves might tell a story, but feels entirely forgettable as you rush to the next. Makes it feel more like I'm just doing overworld fates.
I think part of the Bozja problem is the same that Deep Dungeons and partly Frontline has. It became a place to grind job exp, and when you didn't need this, the zone lost its usefulness. Not many wants to do the two zone raids now, and they even had to bump the reward shortly after release to get people to do it.
Worse then Eureka, but hopefully still better then Bozja... I just hope everything is there from the beginning, i dont want the cool features to be added on the final part lol

Yeah the added xp boost from completing the challenge logs are nice too… you can hit two birds with one stone: advance your elemental level and spawn the fates. On the Eureka v Bozja part. To me, Eureka makes me more involved in the zone compared to Bozja.

From what little they’ve shown, it looks like it’s going to be a more Eureka-like setting, which is good… if I’m going to be spending a large chunk of my time there, I at least want interesting scenery! Bozja refined the action systems a little from Eureka, but it just wasn’t my kind of setting or storyline.
Eureka succeeded in that it ends up being a place I still enjoy going into, even though I’m done with everything but BA. But every few months or so I decide I want another shiny weapon, or I forgot to get the dyeable gear for a job, and back in I go! I even took one of my alts through it so she could have a nice relic. Bozja on the other hand… I did my time there and I’m done, unless I decide to go back for Cerberus.
So I hope the storyline and gameplay end up being engaging enough that the relic grind doesn’t feel like as much of a grind. And I want it to be self-contained… I don’t want to have to grind 30 fates in 3 different areas that don’t really have any connection to the story. I want to be immersed in the zone and its lore.
I hope it requires players to work together. I like Eureka more than Bozja because the people in there coordinate the FATE spawns and whatnot. In Bozja you just solo mobs until you get teleported to a CE where everyone runs around doing whatever, repeat. Only the raids had moments where it felt like you actually had to communicate with others and even then they weren't that frequent.
I'm expecting it to be mostly like Bozja except with a leveling experience more like Eureka, although not as dangerous to explore as when Eureka originally released.
7.25 will give us the first zone, likely split into 3 regions and a 48-man raid zone similar to Castrum Lacus Litore.
7.45 will give us an actual 24-man raid with a 48-man Savage version, just like Delubrum Reginae.
7.55 will be another large zone with a raid, similar to Zadnor and the Dalriada.
We already have a roadmap for it from the PLL:I'm expecting it to be mostly like Bozja except with a leveling experience more like Eureka, although not as dangerous to explore as when Eureka originally released.

7.25 is the first zone and the 48 man, which is a Baldesion Arsenal equivalent.
7.45 is new phantom jobs, nothing else.
7.55 is a new area and new phantom jobs
Occult Crescent is being sidelined in 7.3X for Deep Dungeon, which Yoshi P said will have a "greater focus than before," whatever the heck that means.
I think people need to remember that we still have variant and criterion dungeons coming this expansion, so Occult Crescent isn't going to be as bloated as Bozja.

I think calling the content bloated is wild. I would much more prefer the same amount of zones and variance of open world content we got from eureka with the improvements of Bozja as opposed to getting criterion dungeons again with no worthwhile rewards and having them all still be hallway dungeons regardless of them being "different paths". And deep dungeon is just the same old same old. How many people even did the last one? I feel like it flopped hard.Occult Crescent is being sidelined in 7.3X for Deep Dungeon, which Yoshi P said will have a "greater focus than before," whatever the heck that means.
