AFK mount leech NM of 90% of people and 5% who try to spawn NM and AFK tp until spawn NM and a lot of ppl /y /h "rez please, I'm low level but I want to do the NM but I got killed !" ?I'm somewhat excited for the upcoming Occult Crescent patch update! I love FFV and the phantom job really got me hyped for it, plus getting a new way to play with others in an open field environment is neat!
So I was curious to hear other people's thoughts on it (either what we know so far or speculations)!
What are your expectations for it? Will it be good? Will it be bad? What part are you excited for, if any?

Still Useless... To have so many Commendations in 2024
I'm expecting disappointment. It might be cool and flashy initially and the internet talking heads will be soyjacking in their thumbnails of their videos titled "FFXIV is SAVED!", but ultimately it will just be a reskinned Bozja with somehow even less content despite the devs having more time to work on it.

They said lvl 100 combat jobs only, right? I feel like that'd be a mistake.
Didn't someone tell me this would not be the case?
Anyway, that's OC for me - I just can't stand this sort of garbage mechanic. If you are incapacitated and return to base camp without being revived, or if you leave the instance while incapacitated, you will lose a portion of your knowledge. Should your knowledge fall below zero, your knowledge level will also decrease. The amount of knowledge lost depends on your current knowledge level.
That's disheartening. Being punished for experimentation is such a god-awful game design. You already have death penalties as it is. Who's ever at SquareEnix that misses FFXI so much should go play that instead of designing shit like this. At least from the sounds of it, you can't delevel so there's solace in being knowledge level capped, but still.

I was saving from leveling all my jobs to leveling them inside the occult, my disappointment when I found out i can't do that...
Since the start, it has always been stated you have to be level 100 to enter and that you cannot use it for levelling. This should not have been a suprise.
