    i dare to say a single 40min long fate which makes you walking back and forth (and only that)for the entire time is a bad design to vegin with.
    i myself only joined for one fate.... part one for the tunnel. mainly because i've never been around when the others happened. at first i felt fomo but when i finally did one it was ridiculously boring.
    if we would have failed i wouldnt have participated in a second try. even if i didnt had to sleep / work in the next time window.
    and when the game was like: 'good job, part two will start in 30min'.... i logged off, i just closed the game to do something more fun.

    what do we even get from the updates anyway? a few more builduings? a new area? is there anything to do in the new area? some annoying transportation which just closes all content relevant windows (i hate that one so much).

    it feels so pointless to do those updates. we always do the same stuff on every progress stage. there is no story to prog. i dont think we got more items from the merchant?

    THIS.

    And *that* is the problem here: they're demotivating the players who CARE enough to show up and get into the build, and do the pre-work of Red Alerts, etc. etc. to get us TO the build phase.

    I was already mad at the unfairness of it for the lower-population worlds who keep hitting this wall... and then my own larger population world had one of those "Fate Failures," and I got to experience it first-hand. When they threw one at us in the wee hours, with low population. We worked our butts off, and barely got it above 50%. Being "punished" on top of that with no Red Alerts and no Mech Ops... I had zero interest getting back into the zone for hours. In fact, it was well into the next day before I even went back there.

    Now watch them get the wrong conclusions out of this and next time they'll just force the fate to happen during peak times, learning literally nothing in the process.
    Why do they think everybody has stopped running the mechops fates as well? Riveting gameplay am I right? Surely I'm going to spamm those, they're so much fun!

    everyone got their cheap mount reward, so theres no point in running these anymore or do the content at all

    So at about 23:00 we had our fate on shiva... and it failed... it was about 300 ppl between all the instances... this really sucks

    There were probably some people afk or slacking for you cuz we cleared on lamia with about 250 people. Granted we only had 2 minutes left at the end so it was still close.

    didn't finish the upgrade fate today as well, 200+ people participated but we only got to ~60%

    I don't know what they thought when they designed these fates. Running back and forth for 40 minutes is not really peak gameplay.
    Personally I'd rather let it fail 3 times in a row, than waste another 40 minutes of my live while desperately trying not to fall asleep.
