I'm 7 pages of discourse late to this party, but didn't the community already make its distate for a one-button rotation abundantly clear when the healers all went on strike for only having one button to press 99% of the time?

Well it´s either because the Devs only get a heavely moderated view of the JP forums, or the fakt that DPS now starts getting one Button rotation (cough cough Black Mage)
But as it looks like the topic is still in need of beeing adressed.
See Whitemage. *I joke I am a white mage main*
I do think combo actions should have the option to be condensed.
What WoW did with full rotations to 1 button is ridiculous.
At least the rotation assist function has potential as a "Training wheels" function.
if you have fun pressing one button i hope you will enjoy it![]()
I think it's perfectly okay to have that. It will allow extremely casual people and those who have health issues to also enjoy the game more. In WoW, if I am not mistaken, doing Mythic+ while using that tool is just not possible, because the damage difference is just too big. WoW rotation it's proc-based + priority-based, which makes the auto rotation extremely suboptimal, unlike FF14.
No, absolutely not.
Can't believe people are actively against reducing button bloat.
Another fat L for this community, actively against anykind of change and improvement
