Something that I would like aesthetically as an attack animation for Samurai is them drawing a kanji with a flurry of slashes(similar to Cross-Slash in FF7). Maybe they can draw the kanji for their Sens.

I mean you got Ninja doing mudras already so it doesn't make a lot of Sens to do that for Samurai too.
I don't understand why it wouldn't make sense or why a visual effect of kanji has to be exclusive to Ninja. It's a Japanese or Hingashi writing character so it's within reason for a Samurai who also originates from those places to use kanji effects too. Mudra hand signs to activate ninjutsu are an identity specific to Ninja. But kanji effects aren't specific to Ninja, I think they're specific to Japan or Hingashi. If you meant overlapping visual effects all jobs in the caster role basically have variations of overlapping elemental spells. Not much examples for melee but Dragoon and Samurai both use flower effects.
Two reasons for my response - one, avoiding thematic overlap between jobs. Ninja uses scripture/scrolls for Ninjutsu even beyond FFXIV, so kanji appearance is incredibly on point for fantasy style Ninjas. On the other hand while Samurai is also far eastern in origin, scripture/Kanji is far less pronounced in what makes a Samurai what it is, sword arts and seasons being more prominent instead.
Visual distinction like this keeps them unique in their own way.
Also I wanted to make a "sens" joke, which Iguess didnt make a whole lot of sens
I think slashes to draw a kanji and mudra hand signs would still be visually distinct from each other by the actions performed to make the kanji. I also think a flurry of slashes to draw kanji for Setsu(Snow), Getsu(Moon), and Ka(Flower) would be a display of both sword arts and seasons.
