    Subscription confusion on xbox

    I'm confused about my FFXIV Xbox subscription.
    So I recently bought the full version (specifically the Starter version) of FFXIV on Xbox, and the day later I bought the other expansions. I got my free 30 days from buying the full version and 15 from hitting Level 30. My character select screen when logged in in the right hand corner tells me how many days I have left subscribed, my (currently none) Veteran Rank, total days subscribed, etc. I bought 1500 coins to get another 30 days added, so I clicked on FFXIV Coin Payment, Standard, 30 days (1500 coins) and clicked Accept. However, it said 0 coin payment and added no days to my sub. This caused the number of days left on my sub to vanish in the character select screen and my number of days subbed to not go from 0 to 1 even though more than a day has passed in my sub. When I try to do the same thing, it doesn't pass to the next screen and displays "No changes have been made to your subscription or payment method." in red at the top.
    FYI I play on Xbox and I paid my sub on Xbox. I do not own the game on any other platforms, nor is my account tied to any other platforms. I only own one account with one character, who is on the Sephirot server on the Materia world. I have bought stuff from the Online Store but I did that before the problem happened. None of my 1500 coins I bought to renew my sub were removed when I tried to renew it and all this random stuff happened.
    If you have any possible solutions or answers, that would be 100% welcome.

    Sorry I'm struggling to understand your post, probably as I don't play on Xbox/use coins, but I think I understand the problem.

    The subscription won't renew until you've ran out of days (this isn't an Xbox thing, it works like this on all platforms) and you've said that none of your coins were removed which makes sense too.

    The only time a subscription renews "now" is when you add a gamecard.

    Because the number of days left vanished that sounds like you've turned on automatic subscription which constantly runs, so you don't need to do anything. It only shows the days remaining when there is no subscription.

    When your current days run out it'll try and take payment via the method you setup (sounds like coins in this case) and will automatically renew/add another 30 days. If it can't take the payment (no coins or whatever) then the subscription just cancels until you manually resubscribe. Although you may have heard of chargebacks causing account problems, that's not the case here and there's no penalties to your account if it simply can't take a payment in the first place. Either way it'll email you at the time to tell if payment was taken or not.

    So I'm guessing it will pay out automatically from my coins at the end of the period.
    But why does it say I have 0 subbed days when I have had my sub for multiple days by now?

    It only shows "paid" subscription days, the free 30 days that you get with each platform don't count towards that figure, so yes that's right.
