They really need to split Dynamis up and shuffle the servers into other DCs. Kinda similar to the Japanese server shuffle they did last year (at least I think it was last year). Honestly take like 3 servers away from Aether and Crystal and slap them on Dynamis.

Yeah lets force people on a DC they dont want to be on, what could go wrong with that idea

I think as a datacenter, it needs a shot in the arm. The issue is if you reward people for queing at home, you breed the very same thing that ruined the mentor program. So how do you do it? You could force people and put restrictions on traveling, but that would just be punishing the wrong kind of player and wouldn't work. So what should we do? That player never once thought about the server's health. They only cared about themselves, and it shows. Now we're all hypocrites we'd have to be just to do basic things, so I'm not calling anyone out in particular. I'm just stating the facts at hand. I travel to pvp once a day and go back. I tried to fill PF groups and queues, and I genuinely wanted Dynamis to succeed, but I'm as I said earlier at my whits' end. I've done all I can while SquareEnix tells us they're working on it in the same nebulous way they always tell us they're working on it while tripling down on cash shop items and collaborations outside of the game for more money. Milking the game dry and barely giving anything back. We're getting new content, but it's not enough. Clearly, it isn't because the same issues still persist and the same complaints are still being voiced.

SquareEnix, at this point, deserves to have this game continue its downward trend. And all of us are going to have to suffer believing in people who only care about money. Until then, it will stay dead. And it will stay hopeless. And why should we pay the same amount for less?

It's just depressing. I've been on both Aether and Crystal recently to play with friends who have since quit, but it's all the same. There is no right choice anymore. And if the biggest DC and the most casual one didn't fix my problem, I don't see Primal being my fix. I might just go away. Someone who's been playing since the closed beta in 2013 just quiting. All because the game got too damn anti-social, rude, or apathetic. Either way, it's a joke.

Kinda? I've been on 3 DC on NA and now semi-retired on Aether with my solo FC. I'm still playing FFXIV b/c I like the game since all my friends don't have PCs or into MMOs anymore. If I meet nice random ppl, then it's great, if I end up doing more solo content, then it's fine too.

If I wanted to socialize more, there was always going to be LL, big FC, Discord, or even LS available. I'm not sure if others are looking for a stranger to invite them to groups or events; we have that in PF now, too.

People don't want to be on there because there's no player population. People don't want to leave their FCs/friends/houses/etc. behind, which is perfectly reasonable. If they moved multiple servers to Dynamis and vice versa it would solve the population problem without people having to give up the things that tie you to a specific server.

So yeah, I don't see what could go wrong with that, but if I'm missing something please lay it on me. I'd like to know.

People don't want to leave Aether's PF for raiding along with friends, houses, and FC.

I just want to point out that a few months ago seraph was declared a congested world. And I've seen over 400 players on hali for the cosmic exploration fates. Also I typically don't have an issue queuing as dps. sometimes it's slow sometimes not. I also want to add that there is a group that do pvp q sync on specific days because without any organization it would never pop. There are groups doing deep dungeons, hunt trains, fate farms, mount farms(excluding endwalker and dawntrail), and field operations(including the optional difficult/savage content). And this is all happening on dynamis. I can't promise you'll find friends there, as(at least to me) these groups are helpful in doing content but they're kind of cliquey. I could be wrong but that's the vibe I get. But what they organize is helpful for people wanting to do cooperative content. So it's really not as dead as you think.
