Cosmic Exploration is Bad

There just isn't anything about Cosmic Exploration that sounds enjoyable to me personally and I'm better served doing other kinds of gathering and crafting content I consider more casual. Ironically, I've never used macros, because I don't really know how to set them up, but then it never seemed necessary for society quests/custom deliveries anyway.

The problem with society and custom deliveries is that they're catch up and daily/weekly basic content. They're not the baseline doh/dol content, they're way easier on purpose. If you want a more honest point of comparison, you'll find it in standard crafting recipes, and endgame gear crafting.

Level 100 custom deliveries crafting level range ranges from 90-95. None of them are even level 100 recipes anyway

The easiest entry check for crafting is to see if you can craft the current crafting gear

Who cares about crafters? I'm complaining about the gatherers, specifically fishing, and how terrible it is.

I shouldn't need a guide on how to fish in "casual" content. I couldn't care less about a relic tool and since my server seems to get the server-wide events done with in the first few hours of release when I'm at work, I don't care about building the base up because I'll never be able to participate in that.

And if Cosmic Exploration wasn't meant to be a leveling experience, then they shouldn't have allowed people in at level 10 and just made it level 100 only.

If you can't see that, then that's on you. Please feel free to enjoy this hardcore only content with all the other hardcore players. But don't try to tell me that this is "easy" or "casual" when it's clearly Savage for crafters/gatherers.

At least we agree on one thing FSH sucks..LOL. I have maxed gathers + crafters but didn't open FSH.

Why should they not allow people to level up? It might not be the best way, but it's surely a way to do it. Having more options, even if they are not optimal, is better than not having them.

I cannot say I am a dedicated crafter, but it does not feel savage. It feels more like playing a gacha game than anything. Will it proc? Will I "pull" HQ? Hocus Pocus...

Was lazy due work and stuff... but finally finished the first tool today... dunno if im doing one more. by the time i could need it i can make better ones and the upgrade comes too late to be of any use for that patch lol

Towards the end it got less bad and progress felt nice, but it still was kinda... boring? Like would it hurt to get a few more fates? Some of the stuff sucked, i needed the finished tool to get gold and despite having done one fully, i still miss some missions.. idk how i never saw em lol

That's oddly impressive. I was with gear 580 (620 set from Endwalker + Spear) and I managed to get Gold on almost every quest except A. Not only that I was getting 4 levels minimum each 2h.

B to A is a huge jump. Could easily get gold on EW purple script without any meld on B rank. I could barely get silver with DT orange script on A rank

At this stage of forum. Yeah, thank god they not taking this forum seriously. It is always a war zone between the two groups of players.

An in game survey would probably be the best method of gathering player feedbacks

The things i think are really BAD:

Can't use Mounts.
Using Transportation closes the UI.
The UI is clunky to use and blocks the entire screen to start missions.
GP Regeneration is way too slow.

+it is really hard to read the quest text on the bright background of the zone.

I am having GP issue with A rank gathering. To get gold I have full GP with a Cordial ready. Then 2-3 minute idle waiting for GP and Cordial CD.
The idling is not fun.
