When will we get neon hair colors?

Just an expansion of the red portion of the palette would be an upgrade. The reds we have are overblended with brown/orange.

i think there is a limit of optionslots they can put into character creation because of their programming.

but it really is about time they find a solution for it

The age old lore vs. character expression argument.
You can't play Au Ra because they're not from Eorzea. Oh wait, nevermind.
But Viera! Super rare! They rarely venture out from - oh, guess you can.
But Hrothgar They're from places even further than Othard beyond - and you can.
But Hrothgar women are super, duper, extra rare so you won't be able to - well, I guess you can.

Oh, but naturally dual colored eyes and neon colored hair? Psh, totally off limits. Makes no sense. You're from Eorzea.
Well, you're from Eorzea if you headcanon you're from Eorzea. Because that's actually a really small area compared to all the places you visit and your origin is never specified.

New characters in 2.0 and on are kind of awkwardly placed without the legacy dialogue and cutscenes, but the WoL is supposed to have been sent 5 years forward in time by Louisoux regardless. They canonically experienced 1.X and were assimilated by Eorzea's cultures regardless of what backstory you come up with. Regardless, I don't think there's a single culture native to the Source that has neon hair.

Also true of Earth, but thanks to Manic Panic I spent much of my teens and early twenties rotating through neon blues, pinks and reds.
