I'm guessing the the first 12 you was using steak as I had that same issue. Try using the craftsmanship food for the other 3 and you will hit goldA ranks can be macroed if you can hit certain breakpoints (well at least most can). Of the 12 A ranks in the regular rotation for crafters I can macro gold 9 of them. Of the remaining 3 1 you can easily macro silver and it seems like it’s XP proportions are a bit out of whack because getting silver on this one gives more experience than gold on almost any other (for anyone who’s done it it’s the 9900/20300/70 expert craft you only have to make one of) and the other 2 are generally harder and if you macro them you’ll probably only get bronze but it’s easy to ignore those 2 and only do them as manual expert crafts
As for the gatherers they basically just seem to need at least 920 GP, a potion and the gathering to clear the collectible breakpoints (which i believe is 5400), once you hit all of that there is 5-6 out of the 12 that can be consistently golded with near no RNG
and I’m only mid tier pentamelded using island sanctuary materia rather than current tier, so it’s likely easier for people running around in 12/12/12/11/11 pentamelds

A lot of the feedback around this content is pretty bizarre. You've got people basically saying "I chose not to engage with most of the zone's content and ignored everyone else and the crafting system didn't suddenly transform into a totally different system, Cosmic Exploration sucks!"
People can't help you craft because that's not how the crafting system works, but you still have to team up with people to complete the mech ops, red alerts, etc. In every instance I've been in people are constantly chatting and joking around in shout chat as well.

I never planned to touch this content anyway, crafting and gathering isn't for a lot of people, but give it a month or so and the novelty of it will go away.
Not to say it isn't good to have this type of content but this along Occult Crescent won't last all expansion, while they are good types of content to have, when the game is built around it. But when the game doesn't feel fun in general and takes a while to update your asking a lot for content if you think it can hold up the game alone.
I don’t understand the appeal of the gambling mechanic, either. First, I see that neither wheel has what I want, and then I spin the slightly-less-unappealing wheel and find out that what I got isn’t even worth selling. If I have to be disappointed, I’d rather be disappointed once instead of twice. Though, over either of those, I’d prefer being able to make progress towards buying the thing I want with credits, instead of wasting them all on almost literally nothing.
I’ve been playing it mostly for the EXP, but the gameplay is repetitive and unrewarding.
At least the zone looks cool.
Crafting normally involves getting help from others, though this is usually done indirectly through buying gathered materials and crafted components from the market board. I’m sure they could’ve found a way to include some kind of interplay between different crafting and gathering classes if they really wanted to, even if they wanted to keep the idea of limited materials for crafting missions.
Maybe you would need (Specific Gathered Item) to accept (Specific Crafting Mission), and (Specific Crafted Item) to accept (Specific Gathering Mission), and the missions that require special items give extra rewards.
Or maybe there could be group crafting/gathering missions that players could do as a party, with a shared inventory of mission-specific items. The Miner gathers some ore, which the Alchemist can use to craft bombs that can be used to get ore faster, and the final score is determined by the items in the shared inventory at the end. Something like that.

You have cosmocredits for that. Buy stuff with cosmocredits, sell it on marketboard, buy the RNG item you want.I don’t understand the appeal of the gambling mechanic, either. The RNG of the wheel is going to break me long before the burnout will. If I wanted heavy RNG, I'd go play Wow. This content is ass.
go and farm 5.5 mio cosmic credits for the black robot mount
So you have your cosmic tool? Or all classes? The minion, the mount, the space suit, the Star Trek outfit, both emotes, and the other mount?
