what if they had content between "macro dummy" and "crafter god" though. I think that's the crux of people's real complaint, that there's nothing between "slam through these as fast as possible using patterns I recognized from end game macros" and "I literally cannot complete this no matter what I try" and there's nothing in between. People hate massive difficulty spikes.

It's not like there's anything to teach you a better way, either. There's still no sort of guides or helpful input I can see anywhere online for how to not be nose-wrinklingly stupid at crafting, it's just the god crafters leering down their wrinkled noses and not sharing any information.
