    Launcher does not display login fields or play button

    I am currently unable to login to or play final fantasy 14 since the launch of patch 7.21. I am assuming this issue is related to the lodestone post "Regarding Issues with the Windows® Launcher Display" as the majority of the UI in the Launcher appears to be rendering incorrectly. I have tried all of the instructions laid out in the lodestone post and have updated to the most recent version of Windows 10 but I still cannot access the login fields or play button.

    This is what I am seeing with the launcher


    In the hopes that it may be useful to help debug the issue here is what it looks like if I mess around with the text size display settings with windows accessibility. I am able to get something closer to what the launcher normally looks like, but the login fields and play button remain inaccessible.


    Finally, I noticed there appears to be an html error that briefly flashes during the startup of the launcher. I'm not sure if it is related to the issue I am experiencing but I am including it just in case.

    I am also having this same issue. I am not using linux and am not using steam.
    I have been able to get in, but would really like to figure out how to fix this.

    I had the same issues (Windows 10 here) - tried the recommended things (I found SE's suggestions thoroughly unhelpful) changing .exe properties, 'uninstalling' Edge - 'reinstalling' Edge, rebooting,
    no changes. Only after I had 'uninstalled' and 'reinstalled' Edge a 2nd time (possibly in a slightly different way) that things worked again. I hope that the other stuff I did won't screw me over in the future.

    If we have no way to know Edge (which had never given me trouble before) or its libraries are 'in need of repair' or are fixed after fiddling with uninstalling/installing we will continue to suffer.
    I think SE did not know about Edge 'issues' on many people's PCs. But now it's also their problem. I hope they will release more useful help before they start fiddling with their launcher again.
