Building Beta camp was pretty tedious - a hundred people running in circles sucking up moon dust and breaking rocks hundreds of times for 30 mins. Apparently one of the Dynamis servers failed because they couldn't finish the fate in time.

Came to realize none of the rewards interested me so I'll just be sitting it out.
Hi. The world that failed was Golem. Too low pop to pass the fate. I was there.
WAIT. are you telling me i already missed out stages just because i cant take off for an patch right after easter???
As far as I can tell, yes. The base progresses through different stages based on people doing tasks in the zone. Once the the next stage is built, it stays that way for everyone.

Yep, if you have work you won't be able to see the stages people have completed (and they finished all of the current ones within hours) and your missions won't contribute to the overall area progression either. There's new progression each week, but as reset is on a Tuesday morning (at least in Europe) it just means people who actually have responsibilities and employment will miss out again

It would be nice if they could just monitor progression over the full week, without displaying any results until reset. This way whatever contributions people can make over the week, on their own schedule, could contribute to the overall, and stats would be based on that (rather than being based on whether you can make that contribution in the first 5 or 6 hours post update, as it is now).Yep, if you have work you won't be able to see the stages people have completed (and they finished all of the current ones within hours) and your missions won't contribute to the overall area progression either. Yes, honestly if you have any sort of normal life that doesn't allow you to be available in game 24/7, you will mostly miss out on the restoration stages. Same with Ishgard, sadly. Not sure why they chose to bring this particular type back rather than a restoration that lets you proceed at your own pace a la Doman.
