Could I skip the dungeon quest in MSQ?

Adding to what some people are suggesting, after you've made your Party Finder for the duty, go to every zone (particularly in the big cities Limsa, Ul'Dah and Gridania) and make a little post in Shout Chat:

"Hello! My friend an I are trying to get into Thok Ast Thok for MSQ, but we don't have enough People! Please join our Party Finder so we can clear it!"

Remember, one shout per zone should be enough. More than that is Spam, but asking for help like that is totally fair play in an MMO, and how I got a party to help my brother in law clear a big older boss fight at like 1am. You can also queue up normally for the duty, and still go ask around for help.

Remember, you're in an MMO, and people will be happy to help if you simply ask around!

Is there a server on JP that is considered the 'English' servers? There must surely be one?

@nana see if you can find out if there is a 'english' popular server in JP region.
You can Data centre travel from login menu.
You can world travel from the three big city aetherites.

Once you find a server that consistently seems to be much better, maybe pay for transfer.

Also when are you playing JP time? Why are you on JP?
Maybe you are OCEANIA? In which case you can even Region travel in that unique case. (Maybe don't transfer there)

If you are not near JP, then maybe you would be better in another region. Not OCEANIA though. (Check with someone who knows, but I gather the lack of cross DC Party Finder caused the raiding scene to collapse, and from there the entire region. Could be good for just a quick MSQ queue though.)

I've just realised was OCEANIA just to get gaijin Australian culture away from JP Raidfinder and DF? I doubt it. But it's an uncharacteristic expenditure for SQX. Maybe they had some unused marvel hardware going.

First question would be: why are you playing on a japanese server. If you're from Aus/NZ I'd honestly find something else to play because your 2 options are playing on servers where you're not welcome and can't understand a single letter or playing with trash ping on US/EU and lock yourself out of any remotely challenging content by default.

Seriously?! I mean I didn't quite believe myself but might they ACTUALLY have created Oceania just to get rid of the gaijins?
Are english speakers actually unwelcome?
I mean I've said before if they are in J high end PFs trying to speak English I can understand. That's not ok. It's disruptive. It's selfish.
But are we taking about more unwelcoming than that?
If Oceania was created just to purify JP, if your prepared to go that far, then we would just be dealing with unapologetic racism.
You tackle poor player behaviour head on. You don't spend 100,000s to millions on hardware provisioning to segregate people.
We'll never know though. I'm still going to hope for better. (But me on my guard)

No I think they had to expand JP, and said 'well let's just create OCEANIA.
But Fd up by creating too much capacity, and not moving fast enough with region travel to smooth things over for raiders.

But as with most things, the problem is high end.

Oh. And they should have allowed, permanent, free, unlimited transfers to and from Oceania.
Just limited that to two regions for any single player.
