Is FRU Dead?

I’ve been trying to prog FRU the past few days and sitting on Aether in PF. I’ve at most gotten one person, and that was it. I’m not sure if the raid cycle is still going on, but I really want to get this fight moved forward since if I start on Savage I’ll forget it.

Question is, do I give up or keep trying even at peak Aether hours?

Often, old content tends to pick up more during patch lulls. Obviously, if a new extreme comes out, old extremes suffer. If a new savage comes out, pretty much all the other high-end duties suffer. The new field operation will obviously take business away from Eureka and Bozja etc.

I understand being concerned about forgetting, but in my experience at least, I am committed to always remembering a fight's mechanics. There are times, for very old raids, where I forget their mechanics, but if I do several pulls, it all comes back to me. Then as I'm pulling, I remember what I used to do to optimize it over time. It should all come back when you do it again.

People are doing the current Savage tier when there is a lull you'll see all the ultimate's open up again.

It’ll get more popular again in a few weeks so if you’re interested in both FRU and the Savage tier, the best option is likely to start on Savage asap and then get back to FRU later. You’ll likely be ok getting back to FRU with some review and practice.
