Please update the description of the Far Eastern Performer's Attire shop listing

Even if I'm just echoing all the sentiments said already, as a Korean-American who constantly feels the pressure of their culture and history getting displaced, misattributed, or just outright erased; please do the bare minimum of erasing any connection to Hingashi and referring to the pieces with Japanese-specific terminology. These pieces were designed by a Korean team to share their culture and history with the players and the world at large.

Another NA player replying to add my support, after the claim to be more culturally-sensitive moving foward in Dawntrail, it is especially disappointing to still see the erasure of other Asian cultures as if this hasn't been a widely criticized practice since Stormblood. At the very least, I hope they will take the time to update the description and take out the mention of the term "Hingan".

Please remove Hingan from the store page of each localized languages and replace japanese terms for each items with at least common one such as top, bottom and shoes.
Using japanese terms on an attire inspired by Korean traditional outfit is disrespectful.

Sadly this is not only on English description page, but also the other two languages as well. If someone can kindly point this out in each languages, it would be appreciated.

100% agree! This is not Japanese, this is Korean. Just remove the 'Hingan' name in it and change the names of the clothes to Korean names please. It's not much to ask.

I am in support of the OP and the many others who have sent their support to OP. The incorrect names and description is deeply disrespectful and I want to trust that the correct changes would be done to correct the error.

Adding support to this thread. If you're not going to have a location ingame inspired by Korea, then please at least remove any reference to this attire being from the very clearly Japanese-coded place.

I agree.
I seem to recall that at a fan festival in Korea last year, they said that the costumes were inspired by traditional Korean costumes and were designed by a Korean designer.
Please correct that misstatement.
