There are plans for a stream on Niconico, however, it will be in all Japanese.

why isnt it being streamed on youtube live event like the previous ones at least the youtube live-event is alot better quality and more dependable.
some people will end up having to wait a better half of a week for the information to be uploaded to youtube most likely. Not very wise to alienate part of the player base by using niconico.(myself not included)

Feels like we get the short end of the stick quite a lot in this game.

Latency issues for non JP players, maintenance times are between 2pm-8pm prime time, and now the 25th event is only on NicoNico (until translated and uploaded on YouTube.) :/ Will the LIVE letter be the same way?

Er...it is a game made by a Japanese developer... And if you're implying Japanese players have no latency issues...lol.

People over exaggerate the Latency problems all the while ignoring graphical lag is what a lot more experience than network lag.

yes some people do over exaggerate the latency issue but i for one have a great PC and a almost always dependable HIGHspeed connection and yet i would suffer alot from latency problems in Ifrit fight. The whole deal is the entire games coding/server structure is/was ass. I died a many times to eruptions and plumes when i was miles away from them and responded to them immeadiately. Always just set chat to show monster actions and really payed attention yet i would often die to latency problems. But anyways anytime u have a monster tossing out timed actions at you; and there is latency problems and the servers the info is being sent to is half way across the world your at a huge disadvantage. This MMO brings it even a step further because of how taxing it is on your PC. Alot of people try to play this game w/ underperforming 5+yr old PCs that just cant keep up or have the power to play the game in general. We'll see during beta testing how well thsi new can play on almost anything graphics engine works for us i find it hard to swallow that a lousy i5 cheap laptop alone can play ff14 so well but who knows ?I wont be surprised when people start testing and complaining that they are gettin poor fps and stuttering on there cheapo laptops lol.

I really dont see how how its possible to over exaggerate the latency problem in XIV, its so bad.

If you play XIV and then play another modern MMO it is immediatly obvious XIV has huge problems with latency.

there is tons of videos of latency problems on FFXIV on youtube also. I remember seeing one guy with 2 computers spinning around one of his char while the other char was view that spinning char differently.
