    In video, when he drags the item into the slot, around second 35-50, does it look a bit laggy to you?

    It didn't look like it to me, but it's possible. This being a pre-alpha build, I would be extremely surprised if there weren't the occasional kinks. Given how smooth everything else looked, I wouldn't put too much stock in it.
