It looks great. But I was kinda expecting it to be a bit more... Dynamic. I mean, it's as stale and the next mmo game so there's not much to complain about.

Ok keep the flood coming please. Like sweep my house away okay. That video was a smaller flood, and it only took my car. I want to be drowning, I want to be screaming for help . Like drown me, submerge my head under water repeatedly, toss my body around.

That Limit Break is totally OTT awesome... lets hope its power is commensurate with the graphics.
Funny, after seeing the low(er) res alphas on the grass in the screenshots, that leaf caught my eye as well. It has to be geometry rather than mapping. (I think this engine prioritizes/optimizes geometry over texture quality)Lmao... My first thought? "Holy crap, those leaves aren't alpha-bended". Paint me impressed, I haven't seen the whole video yet, but for all the complaints about the flora in the screenshots, when they accidentally did a super closeup of that leave.... what crisp texturing, I'm almost tempted to say that it's a polygonal model rather than a billboard.
Things I noticed:
- He moves immediately after using weaponskills. Seems like the animation lock and battle lag in general are greatly reduced. You probably still can't move during the animation itself, but the animations themselves seem sped up a bit and there's no longer a giant pause both before and afterwards, it seems.
- You can zoom the camera out faaaaaaaar. THANK YOU SE. This will help tons for battlefield awareness.
- Jump thankfully looks less ridiculous than the first alpha video we saw of it too.
Very hyped!

I am completely satisfied with everything. Only thing missing for them to show is loot system I think.

Did they just cast meteor on a huge ass dragon?

Exciting. I just wish this was a direct feed and not crappy cell phone... Please SE give us some HD video!
I personally welcome the jump feature. It just makes the game flow so much better. Imagine having to walk all the way around that long fence near that chocobo stable (in the video). It's not the end of the world, but jumping over it makes so much sense. Also chocobo jumping awesome!
