Would be nice if you guys could do 2 things.
First: Stay with the topic!
Second: Stay realistic.
It's totally unrealistic that they are going to give all gear without restrictions. It just is.
And most of the time you guys here never stay with the topic. I speak about the Everkeeper's set. Especially the trousers. I spoke about an option to get this new set lv1 unlocked, for example in the shop. I spoke about 'this way' because it's realistic.
And most of you guys are just raging and whining about the shop in general. That's not the topic. :/
Let's talk about those really cool trousers, that match so well with their modern glamours! It's sad that we can't use it in most content. :' (
I agree, I love these pants! The Everkeep gatherer's set is the first time in a long time I've not put a glam over the clothing, and I'm wearing it raw with a few dyes. (The leotard undershirt is a little questionable, but only a little sliver of your belly peeks through, so I'm tolerating the lesser modesty than I usually have on the character.)
It’s not unrealistic, because they’ve done it before and they could do it again. They just kinda forgot about it post-level 60. lol Go back and look at how many things before that are labeled “All Classes.” IMO everything that isn’t current expansion gear should be unlocked whenever a new expansion releases.
But to address the main topic, another alternative for the crafter/gatherer gear though would be to release them as Level 1 costume sets, but go through and make all of those All Classes, since we already have some of them from places like Ishgardian restoration. It would be a nice thing to spend whatever the new Cosmic Exploration currency is on, and as you say, these pants really fit the S9, high-tech aesthetic.
They really shouldn’t be cash shop though… much as I like that new Blacksmith top, I’m not paying for it to be class unlocked.
I don't think most ppl would be happy paying extra on top of sub for just pants since they already exist in-game for gil for everyone, but they're locked to jobs.
Also, it would encourage SE to add more lvl 1 glams beyond the exclusive outfits on other servers like the $5 catci patches or trees.
It would be very cool if there would be options to get it Lv1 and unlocked in the game itself. : D
Cosmic Exploration currency sounds like a nice way but I guess that they can't implement that so fast.
Maybe with an later patch! : 3

Hard to say honestly. This forum does not really represent the majority of the playerbase. Most people here are generally unsatisfied when they should pay for something.I don't think most ppl would be happy paying extra on top of sub for just pants since they already exist in-game for gil for everyone, but they're locked to jobs.

Don't get me wrong. SE is taking too much from FF14 and giving too less back. Sadly.
But I thought, regarding that other game versions already sell unlocked Lv 1 crafter/gatherer gear and sets, that this would be the most realistic option to suggest to get the Everkeepers set in an Lv 1 unlocked version.
Of course I would prefer an option to get such stuff in the game itself for the global game version were players already pay a sub! : )

Everkeeper's trousers of gathering really fit so well with that modern glam style. It's not too wide, not too slim, it's just comfy. And I really love the lenght and the colored stripe at the side! <3
