You can disable them in the options if they bug you, but I don't want to. I like looking at other people's adventurer plates and portraits, but I don't want to see someone I've blacklisted, I put them in that list for a reason.
So right now it's either "risk getting an unpleasant surprise" or "block myself from this content I enjoy due to the rare chance of getting an unpleasant surprise". I'm just wishing for the middle ground.
