Prog skipping/lying is going wild this tier.

I do enjoy playing with the partyfinder and I really like the new fights, but..
As many others that are using the partyfinder to progress this raidtier I find it really hard to get past AAC Cruiserweight M2 (Savage). Mostly if not entirely because of prog skippers , prog liars , pf scum whatever you want to call them.
I'm about to drive insane. Accodring to a statistic I'm at my 203. pull which is only what was uploaded by players I was in a party with. The actuall pullcount is probably over 300 already which is for a 2nd turn insane. It never took me that many pulls to clear an entire raidtier and even some of the ultimates I had done in way less than that.
I had some friends that have cleared the raidtier already trying to help me out for a couple lockouts and they ensured me that this is 100% not a me problem and that there is nothing I could change to make it any easier. Mechanically and dmgwise im 100% capable to clear this tier.



What we need is a TOS conform "dodgelist" we can spread around like a raidplan. Something prog liars and griefers are listed on after ruining multiple partys with ofc multiple witnesses.

We need more space on our blacklist. 200 aint enough considering that there is more to blacklist than that. (Cringe Clubad's, Gilspammers ect.)

We need a system that prevents players from joining if there are 3+ players having said player on the blacklist. Griefers will not stop griefing. At some point they are on enough black lists for the system to kick in.


What is your experience so far? Did you get past this wall with the partyfinder? How many pulls did it take you?

I don't think a shame list is something I would agree with, but I do need a bigger Block list. Prog lying was always extremely rampant. I have done 3 tiers in PF, and every single one of them had them.

Because Anabessios and the last tier were easy enough to carry, everyone became complacent and carried them, enabling and feeding bad actors. I am glad m6s is such a wall because you can finally not carry somebody that is just objectively bad.

I had an awful enough experience in p3s back then, so l quit raiding. Seems like that choice was definitely correct

my last raiding era was shadowbringer and always in blind prog for the first clear but to grind I always go with Strat pf and no matter how much you set anything there is always one person who think can be carried no matter what. It's bad yes but can you stop it no unless you use fflogs that is also against ToS if spoken into the game so it's well not easy to see those because a other thing I have seen when I started doing ultimate never cleared. Was some people actually bought carries to have the title but they are far to have the needed skills lv

More blacklist space however would be welcome, for the reasons you listed
It's also odd that you can still group up with people you have blacklisted

This has always been a thing:

A10S in Heavensward, I setup post-Steamroller parties and nobody could get beyond it. It was frustrating. We had no [Duty Complete] then so it was easy to sub in a static and clear it with a competent party.

E1S I was ready to clear on the second pull (it was that easy), but it took me 4 weeks because nobody could do the first phase right. In the end, I subbed in a static that forgot to put [Duty Complete] and cleared the whole fight despite not having even seen most of it, because I knew I could do it.

E2S I got almost to the end on the first party I joined because it was the easiest fight ever. But after 6 weeks, it was evident that this was the hardest fight ever for PF and filtered them so hard even when joining midway progs. I switched to a healer to try and carry them through and cleared pretty quick. In one of them I was rezzing the other healer repeatedly and basically solo healing.

I could go on but this has always been a thing and always will be.

I don't think blacklisting is the solution. I think the other post made recently about recording what % you were at when the first person died or got a damage down, and then allowing PF to filter based on % progress, would help.

For a game that prides itself in removing all kinds of points of friction to reduce toxicity and soothe down its social experiences, it sure does manage to turn every other player into a potential hurdle or enemy. It certainly doesn't seem to foster a spirit of "we're in this together" kind of vibe.

Its unhinged to hop from PF to PF far above the progpoint to single handedly ruin the party within 2 pulls after already waiting for a while to fill.
All this wouldnt be a problem if SE stops actively protecting those players.
Players that are not bad at the game want to be able to point out if someone is holding the group back but we cant because everything you say in partychat nowadays can get you into the GM-Jail. We want to be able to look up playerstats on certain websites before we decide to keep that person in the party but even that is... against the guidelines. The only way to escape from players like this is to just disband the party and open a new one where the circle begins again.
