FURNISHING DESIGN CONTEST 2025 (THE “PROMOTION”) OFFICIAL RULES

KEY RULES

A. Official Rules: The Official Rules for this Promotion consist of both (i) these key rules summarizing the important rules for participating in the Promotion (the “Key Rules”) and (ii) the Additional Promotion Official Rules (“Additional Rules”) applicable to your place of legal residence. Please review the Additional Rules at the following URL:

B. Territories: This Promotion is open only to individuals who are legal residents and physically and permanently located in one of the following countries/territories at the date and time of entry (the “Promotion Jurisdiction”):

• South America, North America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Asia excluding Japan, China, Mongolia, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Laos, Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam, the Philippines, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Macao, and wherever prohibited by law.

C. Age Limit: This Promotion is open only to individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older, and who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, at the date and time of entry.

D. Entry Period: You may enter the Promotion during the following Entry Period (the “Entry Period”):

• From April 18, 2025, at 1:00 AM to May 18, 2025 at 7:59 AM (PDT)
• From 18 April 2025 at 8:00 (GMT) / 9:00 (BST) to 18 May 2025 at 14:59 (GMT) / 15:59 (BST)
• From 18 April 2025 at 18:00 to 19 May 2025 at 0:59 (AEST)

E. Entry Procedure and Limitations: In order to enter the Promotion, you must complete the following steps during the Entry Period:

Step One:

• You must have and maintain your own active FINAL FANTASY XIV (the “Game”) Square Enix account.
• Create images (either physical or digital) of a furnishing item that you would like for your house, consisting of three (3) images – the front design, the side design, and the back design (the “Furnishing”). The Furnishing cannot be any of the following: roofs, roof decorations, exterior walls, exterior wall decorations, windows, doors, placards, and fences.
• If you create a physical image of the Furnishing (e.g. on paper), you must create a digital image of that physical image of the Furnishing in order to submit it.
• Digital images of the Furnishing must be either .jpg or .png format (files up to 5MB allowed) and be in the format 1920 x 1080 pixels or higher. Entrants may use image editing software to alter, enhance or otherwise style the entries they create.
• Please note that all entries must be the sole original creative work of the person submitting the entry. You may not submit works created by another person (in whole or in part).

Step Two:

• Visit the Entry Submission Form page and log in with your Square Enix Account.
• Submit your entry at the Entry Submission Form page and include the following information:
  • Your character name and Home World (this is the character that would be receiving the in-game prize should you be chosen as a winner), the Lodestone URL that points to the character associated with your Entry, your nickname, your entry title, your Furnishing (uploaded via the Entry Submission Form), and a brief comment about your entry (collectively an “Entry”).
• Optionally, in your design, you may provide the following information regarding your design of your Furnishing:
  • Item category name (tabletop, rug, wall-mounted, etc.)
  • Material (e.g. wood, cloth, leather, etc.)
  • Dyeable elements
  • Character size comparisons
  • Other information such as what effects the Furnishing may have or colors of light it produces, etc.

Additional Entry Limitations:

• You must not include any additional personal information in your Entry.
• Entries may not be edited after submission.
• You may submit multiple Entries. However, only the latest three entries will be eligible for judging.
• You must refrain from posting your Entries on blogs or other social channels until Sponsor announces the results. If your Entries are found to be posted before the list of winners is announced, your Entry may be disqualified.
• Designs that have already been published are not acceptable.
• Designs similar to existing designs are not acceptable.
• The use of Artificial Intelligence software to create or generate any portion of any Entry submission is prohibited. If Sponsor determines that any Entry uses any Artificial Intelligence software, such Entry shall be disqualified at Sponsor’s discretion.

F. Winner Selection: The Sponsor (listed below), or Sponsor’s designee, shall select the top two hundred (200) entries from all categories combined using the following methodology:

The Sponsor’s Development and Operations teams shall select winners based on the (i) technical quality of the Furnishing, (ii) originality of the Furnishing, (iii) and creativity of the Furnishing.

Winner(s) shall be selected on or around October 31, 2025 at 999 N Pacific Coast Highway, El Segundo, California, USA 90245.

G. Prize(s): Each winner shall receive the following in-game prize(s):

• One (1) Furnishing Item: Commemorative Plaque*
• In-game Achievement
• In-game Title
• One (1) Great Paraserpent
• One (1) Loporrit Earrings

* Name of the item is subject to change
Each prize is a virtual, in-game item with no monetary value. Prizes cannot be sold or transferred.

Sponsor reserves the right to re-distribute any unclaimed prize.

The prize will be delivered to the character specified during the submission process. Prizes will be delivered on or about January 30, 2026.

If an Entry is deemed to be excellent by Sponsor in its sole discretion, Sponsor may decide to implement it into the Game in the future. In such cases, the development team may make adjustments to the design or features of the item. Note that there is no guarantee that winning entries will be implemented into the Game. Entries that did not win may also be selected for implementation into the Game in the future.

H. Winner Notification: Sponsor, or Sponsor’s designee, will notify winners by or about October 31, 2025 via a Lodestone website announcement.

I. Sponsor: The sponsor of this Promotion is Square Enix, Inc.

J. Ownership of Entries: All Entries and other materials (the “Entry Materials”) (including all copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights associated therewith) submitted by you become the property of Sponsor upon submission, and Entry Materials will not be returned to any contestant. In consideration of our acceptance and review of your Entry Materials into the Promotion, you hereby assign to Sponsor absolutely all right, title and interest for the full duration of copyright in and to the Entry Materials throughout the world. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you acknowledge that Sponsor will own all rights to use, modify, and make derivative works of the Entry Materials, without separate compensation to you or any other person or entity. You agree to take, at Sponsor’s expense, any further action (including, without limitation, execution of affidavits and other documents) reasonably requested by Sponsor to effect, perfect, or confirm Sponsor’s ownership rights as set forth above in this paragraph. Parental consent to such actions may be required of entrants below the age of majority in their jurisdiction at the time of entry. Entry Materials may be used by contestants only for purposes of the Promotion or for private, personal, non-public viewing. Entry Materials received by Sponsor may be destroyed by Sponsor at any time following the Promotion.

K. Other Details: Prizes will be distributed via the in-game moogle delivery service (which may be subject to change at the Sponsor's discretion). Please note that this is a virtual prize with no monetary value and cannot be sold or transferred.

By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound and abide by these Key Rules and the Additional Rules applicable to your place of legal residence, and you represent that you satisfy all eligibility requirements to enter the Promotion.

REGLAS PRINCIPALES

A. E. Procedimiento de inscripción y limitaciones: Para participar en la Promoción, usted debe completar los siguientes pasos durante el Periodo de inscripción:

Primer paso:

• Debe tener y mantener activa su propia cuenta de Square Enix en FINAL FANTASY XIV (el “Juego”).
• Crear imágenes (en formato físico o digital) de una pieza de mobiliario que le gustaría tener en su casa. Deben crearse tres (3) imágenes: el diseño frontal, el diseño lateral y el diseño posterior (el “Mobiliario”). El Mobiliario no puede consistir en lo siguiente: tejados, decoraciones de los tejados, paredes exteriores, decoraciones de las paredes exteriores, ventanas, puertas, carteles y vallas.
• Si usted crea una imagen en formato físico del Mobiliario (en papel, por ejemplo), debe crear una copia digital de esa imagen en formato físico del Mobiliario para enviarla.
• Las imágenes digitales del Mobiliario deben estar en formato .jpg o .png (se admiten hasta 5 MB de tamaño) y tener una resolución de 1920 × 1080 píxeles como mínimo. Los participantes pueden usar software de edición de imágenes para alterar, mejorar o modificar de cualquier otra forma sus creaciones.
• Tenga en cuenta que deben ser una creación original individual del participante que envía la inscripción. No puede enviar una obra creada por otra persona (en parte o en su totalidad).

Segundo paso:

• Vaya a la página del formulario de envío e inicie sesión con su cuenta de Square Enix.
• Envíe su inscripción en la página del formulario de envío e incluya la siguiente información:
  • El nombre de su personaje y el de su World (este será el personaje que recibirá el premio dentro del juego si resulta ganador), la URL de The Lodestone del personaje asociado a su inscripción, su alias, el título de su inscripción, su Mobiliario (subido a través del formulario de envío) y un breve comentario sobre su inscripción (colectivamente una “Inscripción”).
• De forma opcional, en su creación, puede proporcionar la siguiente información relativa al diseño de su Mobiliario:

  • Material (madera, tela, cuero, etc.)
  • Elementos que se pueden teñir
  • Tamaño comparado con personajes
  • Otra información, como qué efectos tiene el Mobiliario, de qué color es la luz que emite, etc.

Limitaciones adicionales de la Inscripción:

• No debe incluir ninguna información personal adicional en su Inscripción.
• No se pueden editar las Inscripciones tras el envío.
• Puede enviar varias Inscripciones. No obstante, solo se valorarán las tres Inscripciones más recientes.
• No debe publicar sus Inscripciones en blogs u otras redes sociales hasta que el patrocinador anuncie los resultados. Si se tiene constancia de que sus Inscripciones han sido publicadas antes de que se anuncie la lista de ganadores, su Inscripción será descalificada.
• No se aceptarán diseños que ya hayan sido publicados.
• No se aceptarán diseños similares a diseños ya existentes.
• Se prohíbe el uso de software de inteligencia artificial para crear o generar cualquier parte de la Inscripción. Si el patrocinador determina que una Inscripción ha usado software de inteligencia artificial, dicha Inscripción será descalificada según el criterio del patrocinador.

F. Selección de los ganadores: El patrocinador (detallado a continuación) o su designado, seleccionará las mejores doscientas (200) Inscripciones de todas las categorías en conjunto utilizando la metodología descrita a continuación:

Los equipos de desarrollo y operaciones del patrocinador seleccionarán a los ganadores basándose en (i) la calidad técnica del Mobiliario, (ii) la originalidad del Mobiliario y (iii) la creatividad del Mobiliario.

Los ganadores se seleccionarán alrededor del 31 de octubre de 2025 en 999 N Pacific Coast Highway, El Segundo, California, USA 90245.

G. Premios: Cada ganador recibirá los siguientes premios dentro del juego:

• Un (1) Furnishing Item: Commemorative Plaque*
• Achievement dentro del juego
• Title dentro del juego

Cada uno de estos premios es un objeto virtual para el juego sin valor monetario. Los premios no pueden venderse ni transferirse.

El patrocinador se reserva el derecho de volver a distribuir los premios no reclamados.

El premio se entregará al personaje especificado durante el proceso de envío. Los premios se entregarán alrededor del 30 de enero de 2026.

Si el patrocinador considera, a su entera discreción, que una Inscripción es excelente, el patrocinador podría decidir implementarla en el Juego en el futuro. Si se diera el caso, el equipo de desarrollo podría hacer modificaciones en el diseño o las características de la pieza. No hay ninguna garantía de que las Inscripciones ganadoras vayan a implementarse en el Juego. Las Inscripciones que no hayan resultado ganadoras también podrían ser seleccionadas para implementarse en el Juego en el futuro.

H. Notificación a los ganadores: El patrocinador o su designado notificará a los ganadores alrededor del 31 de octubre de 2025 mediante un anuncio en la página web The Lodestone.

I. Patrocinador: El patrocinador de esta Promoción es Square Enix, Inc.

J.
