Agreed. More generally this seems to me to be counter to community building, at least if it fragments existing FCs.

SQEX seems to consistently underestimate how systems they introduce will be min-maxed and abused.

Although I'm a solo FC owner, I feel like if members are suddenly leaving for some fireworks, umbrella, hat, earring, or hair that not all races can use at all then maybe there's something deeper going on there causing them to be unhappy.

Possibly, but I think the more likely explanation is that such players are suffering from terminal FOMO. As Aidorouge notes, it'll be interesting to see if Limsa lights up with "I need a signature" shouts.

They did this with mentors, and now they will flood the community finder with smurf FCs.

The possibility that a 1 man guild is selected is probably around 0% even if people leave the guide and create a own one, there will be no chance for them, thats something i lay my hand on fire for it
