I have submitted a ticket and I've emailed support but I get the error 3084 that my character is being transferred and then my game crashes. I don't want to have to wait for maintenance I just want to play the game

I've been having the same issue since the Crystal DC outage earlier this week. Response was
So yeahUnfortunately, there is no manual way to communicate to the servers that the character is no longer logged in, nor is there a way to manually log the character out. The character will eventually be recognized as logged out, though this time can vary depending on multiple factors, such as the area the character was in when the disconnection happened. We recommend trying to log into that character at a later time.
Greetings and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
If this is only affecting one character, then it may be something to do with your locally-saved settings. Go to 'My Documents' > 'My Games' > 'Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn ' and delete that folder. If there are any corrupted files that are associated only with that character, this will get rid of them. Right click on the folder itself after deleting the contents, if it is set as read only, please uncheck that and re-launch Final Fantasy XIV.
If this does not solve the issue, try updating your graphics card drivers and doing a clean boot. To do a clean boot simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game.
Please be sure to install the game to the C: drive as this works best with Final Fantasy XIV. Lastly, please be sure that no background processes are interfering with FFXIV (i.e. Anti-virus software, OneDrive, Discord etc.)
Thank you once again for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums!
