The Male Miqo'te situation of Tural (SE forgetting their own lore?)

The 'beast tribe feigning pidgin english' rather than it being a linguistic product of how their language is structured really reframes (unflatteringly) those beast tribe quests. An honoured friend...yet won't even drop the act around the Warrior of Light who has taken pains to assist them with their various woes.
The reputation says 'trusted' but Dawntrail goes 'nah'.

Where is it said that Meracydian Miqo’te were Keepers? According to the Encyclopedia, all Miqo’te in Eorzea today seem to be from Ilsabard and came over when the Sea of Jade froze over in the Fifth Calamity and there’s nothing at all to my knowledge that mentions Miqo’te migration in the Sixth Calamity.

Might want to double check your lore a touch. It is everywhere in game in the shroud quests and in EE that the Miqo'te arrived in the shroud after the flood, (The Keepers) EE speaks they came from an Isle in the South Seas like AloAlo (Not specifically there)

Might also want to re read what I posted, At no point did I say that Keeper Miqo'te came from Meracydia. The Modern Miqo'te in Eorzea are descended from Miqo'te in Corvos, One group left and lived on an island, most of the rest migrated out in the age of ice (5th calamity). During the flood (6th calamity) the ones living on an island migrated to escape the water and ended up in the shroud.
