The main thing is recruiting new players the current system is a fracking joke and has been for 2 years, noone uses it because it sucks tbh. The only way to get some group content done is do it on the first few days of release or pay the price. That price being.. shouting in uldah untill you have enough people to do it.
Shout has limited range so only people in earshot can hear you the rest of the players in the world including some others that might need to do this group content cant hear you.
If there isnt a global or at least regional chat channel in 2.0 or a PROPERLY designed content finder, then SE can forget any hope of the game ever being successfull.
Even with a reward most people won't want to help with something you can easily do solo.
That said, I agree that there should definitely be an incentive to go back and redo content.
