MCH locked out of PF

Is DNC just doing better in M6S because of VPR, or is their personal dps during that add phase better too? I kinda expected it to be worse off since the strat seems to be to have ranged bait the mantas and DNC's aoe combo's a point blank, while MCH has quite a few long range targeted aoes that they buffed the falloff damage on

Probably bit of both. According to the Math™, DNC has been dealing 5% higher personal damage than BRD for while now. Compared to BRD, and MCH in M6S, DNC may as well be the old PCT of phys ranged -- its even ahead of NIN at the moment. BRD, and MCH both need buffs for this tier -- especially MCH.

I just checked pf on eu dc and out of 10 randomly selected partys there was one that didnt want a mch. There even was a m7s clear group with a mch inside

I have kept my sub going and came back because FF14 finally got some actual content, bought my crafted set and farmed my tomes but what is that I see? Most savage PF groups are locking out the class I just spent my hard earned gil on!

How is this even a thing? This is ridiculous, how is the balance this bad in the game praised for its "good balance" and for "play what u want". If I want to play another class now I'd have to most likely level one if I want to share gear OR farm new set/buy a new set just so I can play a class I might not enjoy and partake in current content.

Why are melee classes that are already performing at the top and have raid buffs getting buffed while MCH sits in the gutter? Blocked out from playing the game?

I am in EU and I see absolutely nothing saying that MCH is not allowed. There are even parties with MCH. Moreover, most PFs that I looked at that had all DPS had at least a SMN and/or a MCH in.

If its m6s i can kinda understand it, first of all pf people are never the pinnacle of anything then m6s needs a lot good aoe cleave, and lets be real mch sucks ass when it comes to AoE, its sad but square messed up yet again atleast on the mch part

Nice try but I have crafted boots and all my slots are 740/750.

Either way, I didn't bother spending more of my hard earned gil on melding after seeing the tragic state of FF14 community in 2025. Gatekeeping is now worse than WoW officially.

IDK man .. I see 2 pieces that are not ilvl740+. 690 Boots and 730 Ring
Maybe you got everything at 740 now but at the time you opened this thread you 100% didnt.

If you cant even effort the bare minimum of melding the guaranteed slots on a job that brings nothing to the table except his personal damage then you shouldnt join PF and waste 7 other ppls time anyway.

If they aint gonna buff it then at least slap some self heals and shields on and make it a hard to kill, greedy prog jobs or something...

They 100% don't have any melds in even with "updated" gear, and the build they have it's def not the BiS recommended for week 1.

They need to kill/farm Zelenia first..lol.

They probably did less dmg than a healer, got booted out and now crying in forums..epic..

Stop relying on a website that uses 20+ year old architecture and updates once a blue moon.



This was never about melds though? stop moving the goalposts. U went from ilvl to melds but people who make the PF cant lock out based on melds.

They can based on ilvl/class, though. Ur "gotcha" is weak.

Anyway why are trolls who dont do savage coming into this thread?
