    Hey Square Enix, that is the level we except in cut scenes!

    Hey buddies by SE and CBU3, i play your game since the beta. But why i don't get that level of cutscenes from you? Its not that i want to switch to other games, but why are you stuck 20 years in the past, where the most reaction of hero is to raise his arm and think "oh no... snap"

    They have simpler character models yes, but why the can show more emotion to that simple model than you, why they have a camera that is moving and use cinematical tools to tell a story and you not? Look at this and see and feel the emotions in there work, backed up by the music and the visuals on the background. You not even get that level in the ending of endwalker, why are you not on that level? You are a multi million dollar company, with over 35 years of experience, why we are stuck in cutscenes that mostly are on the level of games that where produced 20 years in the past and they where fully voice over!

    Can it be, that you are total understaffed? Maybe because Kuro Game the Dev of Wuthering Waves have 1500 People and CBU3 is not even on 500 people?
    Maybe because you did not find more in japan and you should finally stop to only hire people who can talk japanese. You are not a small indi studio, you are SQUARE ENIX!
    Don't stuck in the past, 35 years ago, where 10 guys in a office can produce a mario kart like game. You must go on, go into the future and do not stuck in despair.

    This small indie company is already totally overhelmed with sharper textures and correct normal/parallax maps. Do not expect, that they are capable to update the whole character models, which would be necessary to make higher quality ingame cut scenes.

    People still pay money for whatever content they are releasing. Why bother making something more or better if it still brings money.
    It's been over 10 years, and they still shove "sorry spaghetti code" into everyone's faces.
    SE doesn't spend finances they get from 14 BACK INTO 14 and instead sponsors their other projects.

    Kuro Games is not so small, its 1500 people stong, 3 times more as CBU3 on Square Enix! That lead to one question!
    Why has Square Enix not 1500 people not work on Final Fantasy 14 to deliver us with that quality?

    Hmm I'm not sure I quite agree with this tbh. For me ff14 cutscene mostly have been good. They do emply the camera movement thing, just not like the examples you provided here.
    I think it's a tad unfair to compare them, since WoL is customized character, which means they have to consider race, gender, and jobs when creating cutscene.
    Ff14 might not as emotive, but they excell in creating immersive cutscene. For example, post hades fight (when we throw the axe of light) and fist fight vs zenos in EW.

    The WoL standing there doing nothing is more writing issue imo

    • Honor, maybe? Because SE want the give the customer the very best product on the market?
    • Maybe Money, because they loose 30% of subscriptions between 7.0 and 7.2. That is a fact, researched in the loadstone and the success flags!
    • Maybe because they do not want to get buyed by tencent, netease, sony or maybe microsoft?! Oh i forgot krafton!

    But you are 100% correct, we do not pay 15$ a month, 60$ per patch, 300$ per addon (+40$ for that addon) to finance other procjets of Square Enix!
    We pay that SE can pay there bills for the devs of Final Fantasy 14, for the monthly cost of servers and offices and we pay even for that they can hire more people to give us more content. And yes even a small share of profit could go to the investors and other procjects. But most of that money must be used only for final fantasy 14. For us! Not for overpriced crpgs that cost 200$ while a full D&D deluxe set cost 120$ or a chicken suit that cost 20$ at amazon on the same quality, while a SE brand chicken suit cost 75$.

    SE is lazy and greedy...

    I don't think it will be efficient and profitable. 300 is already a lot. Idk why 1500 is needed for gacha game though

    You pay subscription! 10-15$ per month. Lets say 15$ you are on 60$ per patch. That is a AAA game! You should expect not less than perfection from a AAA game company for that much money!

    And yes you are right, it is more work! But you pay 60$ per patch! Should you not expect that effort from them? Why we as customers are always that way that we must be on the side of a multi million dollar company?! We pay for that effort! We pay 60$ per patch! We should no expect less from them, as a game dev like Kuro Games who has 3times more people to pay as CBU3 and has no subscription. Who must bring quality because only quality lead to an open wallet that pay for gatcha mechanics.

    We pay for that, but where do you think that money goes that we pay? They produce other games with that money! FF14 is 70% of there income of SE! But they create other games with that money, while we discuss about that it is not fair that they most work harder for our money, than another company? Come on.... that is pandering a lazy game dev!

    The 1500 people team cost about 150 Millions to make Wuthering waves! They made 140 millions in the first month! Every ongoing month they made 10-50 million!
    And they have no subscription with permanent income! They must open the wallet of people with quality that they want to invest in there gatcha game mechanics!

    They make money, much money! And SE should not invest 70% of the income FF14 generate to make other games like FF XVI or flops like "Forspoken".

    We pay for there income, we should expect only the best!
