    The lore isn't the only reason the game sucks now

    It's just repetitive. I keep hoping my account will get banned so my wife stops making me play with her. It's just the same game every xpac, no innovation.

    A lot to unpack in that second sentence.

    But I think that if one finds that a thing they did for joy is no longer enjoyable, it's ok to just...not do it.
    Sometimes things just get stale, or go in directions we're not as into (mechanically, stylistically, narratively, whatever), or we fall out of sync with being the target demographic.

    This guy seems to be here solely to continue a joke from over six years ago, because all of his posts are about giving up the game... but all the other nine are from Stormblood.

    I'm gonna be honest, while I respect the angle of a callback joke that long in the tank, reviving it for 'ugh, MY WIFE'-level comedy is just sad.
