Hi I haven't been playing for a while but I came back after the whole server change, used to be on Rabanastre and I have the Gobbue mount, but here are my questions.

Will I be able to change my server?
I want to be in Balmung but I was placed on a different server I didn't choose.

Will I be able to change my race?
I want to be a Male Miqo'te when they release in 2.o.

Will I be able to do a name change?
I'm not satisfied with the name.

I have considered just deleting my character and just start from scratch, but I have a Gobbue mount that is exclusive and won't be able to obtain anymore so that is why I'm asking. If it comes down to it I will delete my character and just cut the loss of the Gobbue mount.

Server and name changes are as yet unknown, but everyone gets to remake their character because they're going to look different with the new graphics engine. You can change race at your new create-a-character screen.

Not sure, think SE is working on that still.

If you're a Legacy player, you'll get 40 character slots for one low monthly price, so I'd keep your old character just in case.

Well I suppose that's a good thing, if the server and the name change is included with that too. Thanks for your information.

It would be pretty weird to change your character's gender and not being able to change their name. Plus, after releasing naming mechanics, it would be too hurting on those of us who like naming our characters correctly.

I was kinda thinking the same thing. And I heard about the Legacy members thing too, I think it's just $9.99 a month if your a Legacy Member, plus you get an exclusive chocobo and you get to have your real-life name in the credits, sounds awesome to me. I'm just so excited.

I'm in the same boat as you, OP. Wanna switch race to male Miqo'te and I also want to change my name since my current one won't really fit a cat man.

Yeah, the Legacy thing is pretty sweet. $9.99 for 8 characters in each world.

Your server was merged with the server in question. Thus, unless they all have also quit, you should still be seeing people you know.

Well my linkshell that I was in said they were going to Balmung since I heard that you could choose the server when I guess that option was available.
