Prophecy Inspection Not Loading Initial Cut Scene

Same issue here and then after almost 10 minutes of waiting it gave me the "Final Fantasy Has Stopped Working" message. Logged out, logged back in and I'm just back in my room without any cutscene... the "!" mark on the minimap is still present which looks like I have to wait all over again.

Steps Initiated:
1. Fulfilled Requirements for Prophecy Inspection.
2. Logged out of the Mizzenmast Inn at around 6 am CST
3. Logged back in around 8.20 pm (14 hour break) and I was stuck on a black screen with ambient sounds playing, no in game music, and unable to skip the cut scene that is stuck loading.
4. Eventually, got the message that FFXIV has stopped working
