    It definitely feels tight for an unreal. So far all four of my clears have been during the enrage sequence, with many more failed attempts at around 5%~ hp left. To be fair, in all of these attempts there were obvious places to improve such as having fewer deaths, fewer stuns from failing tiles, and some runs had damage downs from towers (I can say I was personally responsible for a painful 2% enrage due to not getting my tower. x_x). I also know in a lot of these groups we weren't holding opening burst, so that's another spot to improve.

    But I can also say I don't remember enrage being this big an issue since Shiva unreal all the way back in Shb. Usually unreals would fail due to wipes if at all.

It also doesn't bode well at all for Seiryu, who was somewhat worth looking forward to otherwise. Byakko's boring transition phase aside, the fight was feasible enough to keep this content slightly more active.
    Just enjoy the wave of its difficulty, it will start like this and as the weeks go by will become easier because of gear. Just enjoy the wave!

    I just remember unreals getting easier but I guess thats just down to practice, enjoy the wave before you get too good at it for it to be hard anymore

    I won the RNG lottery and got my two clears tonight with a chill group. First kill we quite literally had 1-2 seconds left before enrage and I was saying this is going to be a 0% wipe. Second kill was also in enrage but not as close.

    I still stand by what I said before that the DPS check is too tight on this boss.

    Gear doesn't help unreals as they sync to i695.
    Because you sync down, your materia doesn't have any effect. As a warrior I have lots of Direct Hit materia and that suddenly does nothing when I go into this fight or anything else that syncs me down. I imagine this is annoying for DPS classes that rely on melds like skill / spell speed as well. Yes, you can get your artifact job armor and accessories, minus a second ring, to meld at 690, but I'm not sure that's worth it or should even be expected.

    Wasn't Suzaku EX pretty much this tight when it released?

    And isn't this exactly what they told us Unreals were for, was to experience them like they were at launch?

    I don't remember the dps check being tight in the original, though I do remember needing healer lb a lot due to deaths in the second half lol

    Serious now, look i do Unreal since it was released the first time, and the fights were always based on actually extreme fights so of course the Unreal Fights are on a Extreme Level then after all, and you say comments like "git gud" are not adding to the Conversation but with all seriousness it does add way more then just saying "nerf it, dps check is to tight" I see every Week since the first time it is released People struggling with the DPS Check (maybe im just unlucky) and then i check the forbidden tool and what do i see? 2 DPS doing 20k dps (its a example) while the other 2 are on healer level dps, now tell me do you really wonder then why the dps check is so tight? It is not because the fight is overtuned it is because people are way undertuned and dont know dogshit, so yea call me toxic say "gitgud" doesnt add anything but in the end people need to start to improve and then you see "ohhh the dps check isnt tight at all"

    Again, how do you propose we get people to improve in PF? Not to mention, people are right. This is Unreal. Most Extremes aren't even this tight outside min iLvl.
