This forum is turning into an absolute mess of BLM takes, and it's getting ridiculously repetitive and exhausting.

For the love of god, consolidate your discussions into one thread instead of spamming the forum. At this point, it feels less like genuine discussion and more like attention-seeking drama.

If a mod could step in and clean this up, that would be great—there are plenty of other jobs that deserve a chance to be discussed without having to wade through a flood of duplicate BLM posts.

EDIT : Just to be clear, this isn't about taking a stance on the changes or giving my opinion—it's about making you realize that you're turning this against yourselves. By flooding the forum, you're pushing every other issue or discussion into the background, making them seem less important.

Right now, BLM players are just making things worse by not handling this like adults. Instead of having a single, reasonable thread for discussion, you're spamming the forum and drowning out everything else.

For me, #HEALERSTRIKE handled the discussion around healer stats in a much more reasonable and constructive way. This is how things should be done. And a subject wirth 1000 pages has more impact.

The Dark Knight megathread has somewhere around 400-500 pages with good discussions and requests. Some badly needed QoL got implemented up to two expansions later after it had been discussed and mentioned ad verbatim (Dark Mind now having physical mit, Missionary now usable in lv70 ultimates as parity with GNB), with many good requests to QoL and having meaningful gameplay which we lost since 5.0 never seeing the light of day.

The 1000+ Healerstrike megathread ultimately amounted to <kupo!>-all and basically nothing. No meaningful changes except Esuna being instant now. Various high-end duties still somehow designed and balanced with Lv80 or Lv90 healer kits in mind, if not outright done without healers. We got a toolkit that would allow us to heal next expansion's first savage with no further additions, probably even just with what will end up iLv790 savage gear in AAC Heavyweight.

Meanwhile last time they caused a legitimate shitstorm by removing ice paradox, just like now we had a ton of Black Mage threads and social media posts pop up telling how bad it is. That actually got resolved and we were VERY happy.

Sorry, but as much as you and Creative Studio III wants to tell us that feedback is likely more recognized from megathreads, currently there is precedence for the opposite to be true.

Maybe, JUST MAYBE, they should not have said basically nothing in the liveletter, be de facto silent about it and actually communicated with us what's to come with Black Mage, just like how they did in 6.3 with Paladin.

Are other things important too? Yes. But if they don't want to communicate well with their playerbase and just do their own thing, then so will the players by making 30 threads on Black Mage.

BLM threads don’t stop you from complaining about other jobs. If you have a complaint then voice it. Square will ignore it anyway but it’s not like it’s people who are unhappy with BLM’s fault

You point out that you prefer the megathread method and use an example that is longer than basically the entire history of the JP forums put together (the healerstrike thread) and even acknowledge it achieved nothing tangible in game and yet still say people should self order on the forums

What does putting things into megathreads achieve? Why is it sooooooo painful for you to see multiple threads about a popular complaint relevant to the game right now? If this is such a big deal and square cares about EN feedback why don’t they police this themselves? They police the JP forums.

If you immediately go “well I’ve seen 6 threads and I’m tired so stuff you” you just sound pointlessly vindictive
