Oh look changes that cater to making things easier to pick up actually ruin the experience because it's no longer fun or unique.I got into BLM because I was told it was hard as fuck.
I got it to experience the challenge it delivered.
It doesn't have that challenge anymore.
It no longer has the risk I played it for.
I want my timers back cause they made me focus on tightening my loop and inputs, giving me that feeling of accomplishment when I perfected them.
I want my cast times back cause they made me really think about my positioning and when/where I start my loop.
I only got to lv 55 and was loving how much effort I needed to put into my choices and plays and now I cant feel that edge anymore. I don't have the thrill of smoothly executing my inputs within my timers and now I wont get to properly experience high LV BLM cause the fun that I derived from it is gone.
I guess I'm putting up the staff for now. Thanks XIV.
I agree fully though, sadly black mage only got better by the levels, but right now in it's current state I do not recommend the job
