Can I have my Scions back?

They need to pull the Scions out of the story after 7.3 and just give us cameos of them from time to time. If anything, I'd prefer the Scions stay as side characters since they're supposed to have disbanded and been done with, not come back together again not just once, but TWICE when we're facing a threat that your average jobber could've easily come in and done.

I’m OK with the Scions out of the story when the plot is being settled up. I don’t want to go further into spoilers, but when we reach a key point of the story where things are going out of control is just natural to call for help from people you know are capable and trustworthy. At least that is what I would do in the same situation if I had long-time friends like them. So why would I call Erenville instead of Urianger? I know what they are TRYING to do, I just don’t think is believable from my WoL pov.

More than a decade with the same cast to the point that the director doesn't even know where to put them anymore and there is absolutely nothing else left to explore their development in the story and yet you want more of the same?

Nothing else left to explore their development is just an excuse for bad writing. All they need is a purpose and a new plot. They don’t have to be the center of the story and being generic NPCs like 7.0 is even worst, is not what am I saying, but there should be something for their fanbase.

Even sidequests would make me happy.

Send the WoL to another plane where they are weak and helpless. Forced too earn their op status back and a way home.

And also, I think it would help tremendously when the writing allows them to have conflict with each other (i.e thancred vs ysthola in ShB). Or even divide and pair them in an unconventional way.
So like, instead of the usual Alphi - Alisae, Thancred - Urianger, ysthola - Graha, or Graha - Krile; maybe it can be Thancred get partnered up with Alisae, which allows them to have unique interaction (i.e thancred is shown to have competitive streak and was looking forward to beat her in the succession rite).

On a side note, I wish we get flirty thancred back. Maybe not as much as ARR Thancred is, but his playboy persona is his trademark.

I'm pretty simple.

If they can find good ways to include scions without turning them into cardboard cutout version of themselves + isn't around only to fill out trust slots, sure. Go ahead and keep 'em in next stories.

If they can't do that, then I'd like to see WoL do their own thing, or find new cast to fill the roster.

Well, that's... a bit like picking between severly spoiled food and straight up poison.

I mean, I don't think even the biggest wuk lamat defender would genuinely want to have a team of Wuks following us around.
