Error: Unable to Download Patch Files

I'm frustrated. This happens every single time there is a patch. Every time I will get frustrated and just quit playing for a bit - but apparently I like the pain because I do love this game when I can get it to download patch. I also have a lot of friends who play this game I do enjoy being able to play with them when it this launcher decides to work - so I would like to get this fixed.

Can I get some official support on this? It seems that I'm the only one on my FC that has this issue and I don't know why. FF14 is the only game that won't download patches .. I know 100% it's not my speed/connection since I can download and play other games without issue.
