    high ping all of a sudden, exclusively in FFXIV

    so since yesterday i started experiencing kind of a high ping for me. usually im at 45-50ms, and since yesterday its around 130-150ms and more. i already tried doing a lot of stuff (like this post here for example)

    This happens every single major patch and is an issue that SE creates.

    It mysteriously resolves after about the first week of each major patch as well, so all you normally have to do is wait or use a VPN.

    I've seen easily 30 major patches and this exact issue has triggered on 100% of them. So don't go letting SE or their sycophants gaslight you into thinking something unusual is happening on your end. It isn't.

    Are you experiencing disconnections as well?
    When the disconnect occurs/How often?
    Does the disconnection happen to one character or multiple characters?
    Is a VPN being used when this occurs?
    Where in game do you get disconnected?
    What ISP Is being used?
