I'm with you on the Linda issue. A bunch of m'cuties in their underwire, dead blunt mages cluttering the ethernet, and bunnies doing the bees nose. Absolute disaster zoom.

The huge number of threads related to visual accessibility are a pretty clear sign something is very wrong.

This can easily be solved if they allowed players to change the color of telegraphs (without plug-ins), Orange on Red / Orange floor is always a problem visualy, we had that same issue with Phoinix. I don't really look at floor telegraphs for the most part, so it doesn't effect me a lot, but i understand the problem.

I normally just stroll into stuff. Day1. Bit of medical. Bit of asylum. Spam glare. Done.

With this tier I actually need to think and it's so fun to heal again!

You miss a mechanic, your missing 60% of your hp. So I actually HAVE to heal. And UPGRADE my gear to keep on top of it.

Love it. 7.2 has delivered for me.

Not to burst your bubble, but this is because people are doing the fights in crafted gear. Won't feel like this anymore after a couple weeks.

I enjoy M5 and M6. They have no unique mechanics, not really. But they're full of flavor, which disguises it really well. M7 I just find a nightmare to read, for some reason? I find his tells hard to determine quickly enough. M8 is...there? It's the least interesting fight out of the 4 by far, I think. Curious what Savage is going to be like.

The most interesting fight I've seen in Dawntrail so far is probably EX4. The connecting floor tiles is a really cool mechanic.

Bad color contrast is one of the problems, yes.

Phoinix released towards the end of 2021 iirc.

There are obvious solutions to a lot of problems in FFXIV.

M5S from what I've seen seems to be the usual basic chariot/dynamo, half cleaves, light party stack, partners, spread, proteans, with some grid AoE telegraphs.
But, I won't pass any judgement otherwise since I'm now officially retired and happy with it. Curious to see how the following fights are going to be in their savage version.
