Doesn't that only work in cities? Peloton will still be used in instances like it is now.

Expedient is like that in many cases, true. While it can be like an additional Sprint while everyone's Sprint is on cooldown, in many cases it's just a way to "carry" the people that aren't smart enough to press Sprint.
Pelton new purpose is too ensure Lala who are carrying a raid team on their shoulders. Can still have a normal sprint speed.![]()
Jog genuinely made me want to stop playing. I know very well that that sounds strange and stupid, fully aware, but i just HATE the sped up running-animation, and to have that "forced" upon me actively makes the game worse. I already hated having to press Peloton after every pack in a dungeon, and now having to to that on every single job in the game..? no thanks.
Now i have to choose between always having my character run like a cartoon character, or be punished for not doing that... :/
Most people probably love the introduction of Jog, but i mean, i've never had an issue with the normal running speed for the past 11 years, no idea why they felt the need to change that. we've got teleport, aetherytes, increased sprint duration in cities, peloton, and this patch even gave us mounting up while running. why on earth do we need Jog too?
Again, i know it's a stupid thing to be mad about, but i genuinely feel like it makes my gameplay experience worse, as weird as that may sound.
Rant over... :P
They should give phys ranged like BRD, and MCH walking casts, and repurpose Peloton to become a personal movement speed buff that negates the 'walking' part while in combat now that Peloton is useless as an out of combat party buff.
Group-wide spammable job for dungeons. Sprint has a cooldown, Peloton does not.
Deep Dungeons I guess
I'm fine if it's a rphys expedient. Would actually give the role some very much needed identity and actual utility in fights.
That'd be pretty great honestly
I really wish that the physical ranged had to actually 'aim' their skills
Jog doesn't have 100% out of combat uptime like Peloton does. In the vast majority of dungeon use cases, you should have generated enmity by the time Sprint wears off, so Jog in dungeons should be rare. And with the changes to Shortcuts dropping you off at the boss arena, running back after a wipe doesn't matter anymore either.
