    Up until the Limsa portion of the Hildibrand storyline, his antics we're slightly amusing at best, more eye rolling worthy than anything else. But when Hildibrand revealed himself at the end:



    The way that entire scene played out, a culmination of all his other encounters and eccentricities, I laughed for five minutes straight.


    He'll survive into 2.0 for no other reason than to thumb his nose at that dastardly Dalamud. Him and his little assistant, too.

    That cutscene is what turned around my opinion of him as well. At first I found him slightly annoying, but then this happened, and now I can't get enough!

    Actually just finished the latest quest with him. I was so surprised and amused by the ending. XD

    I'm assuming I didn't just watch him DIE, so but now... he's ON Dalamud maybe? How will that work out? Also, OMG, what did they do with Darnus' spear THIS time??
