What would the healer mounts be, if they exsisted

Just a fun thought experiment asking what people think would work as our healer mounts if they got the same treatment as tanks.

I thought that since the tanks are all big beasties, the healer one could be pet themed.

My friend suggested a corgi or a cu sith mount for scholar (fairy dog)

I though something like a flower dog or cat would be neat for whm (like okami)

Scholar: Feo Ul version of the Spectral Statice mount, or princess carried by the larger King Feo Ul.


Astro: Sitting atop a floating black hole with similar shape to Ozma mount, or a mini floating galaxy where you lay curled up in an ball inside the middle.


Whm: Some sort of Sin Eater would be cool, preferably Forgiven Obscenity.


And for Sage i'm not really sure I can think of a good one, maybe some sort of futuristic ambulance that transform into a airship when in flight would be funny.
Or maybe using your weapons as floating platforms to carry you around.

There's two (200, 300 dungeons) for each tank where the second mount is a variant of the first one with something added. It also seems that every tank mount looks like they share the same skeleton, so it'd probably emulate that in terms of mesh shape...thinking maybe a skeleton based on an "orb"-type (doesn't have to be an orb just needs to adhere to the skeleton) to allow variance more.

Scholar
200 Dungeons: A bubble with the player inside.
300 Dungeons: A bubble with the player inside with much smaller bubbles everywhere /w small fairies dancing around sporadically.

Astrologian
200 Dungeons: A see-through orb of stars, and constellations with player inside.
300 Dungeons: A see-through orb of stars, and constellations, darker with a black fog surrounding (simulating a black hole of sorts) with player inside. Further constellations vfx imprinting outside the orb.

White Mage
200 Dungeons: Player trapped inside a "Holy" vfx.
300 Dungeons: Player trapped inside a "Holy" vfx with bells outside the effect.

Sage
200 Dungeons: A forcefield with player inside
300 Dungeons: A forcefield where Nouliths surround it beaming towards it.

If they wanted to make it even more unique can add special sound effects and face emotions to go with the mounts to replicate how one would feel in that environment.

I would love if the healer Achievement Mounts where each healer's respective barrier spell animation made into a looping object. Let them ride on it like the Ozma mount.

Divine Benison for White Mage at 200 Dungeons and Aqua Veil at 300

Adloquim for Scholar and then the Consolation Barrier Next

Aspected Benefic for Astrologian and then Exaltation.

Eukrasian Diagnosis for Sage and then Haima as the upgrade.

Let the character do a generic healer cast with the green aura with whatever weapon their currently holding during the cast bar. It would be awesome to cast a faux healing spell as a tank or DPS to get on your healer Achievement Mounts.

As a side note, I think the final Achievement for "Good Samaritan" which is earned for reviving people outside your party should award a giant Phoenix Down Feather for your character to surf on like the Nimbus Cloud.

I love all of these, for Sage in particular I'd do a repainted ambulance-variant of the Falcon mount maybe, being semi-techy? Astro could also get a special variant of the card mount, where you get a random of the 8 tarot cards each time you mount?

That sin eater is a reskin of a boss in Amdapor city hm. The White Mages of Amdapor were creating golems with their magic, so this lion indeed fits for a White Mage mount. Same as the Disembodied Head from Palace of the Dead.

However, we can look at the level 50 PvP sets. The tank sets match their mounts. Paladin gets a lion and the PvP set is the "Lionsmane" set, Warrior gets a bear and the PvP set is the "Bearsmaw" set and Dark Knight gets a panther and the PvP set is the "Lynxfang" set (not a perfect match, though).

Looking at these sets White Mage would get a Swan, Scholar an Elk and Astrologian an Owl as a mount.
