Ketu Slash went from a dangerous tankbuster that often killed unprepared sprout tanks to a basically non-existent tickle.
Aulus Mindjack removed the Magitek claws so all you need to do now is literally run in a straight line
Bosses jump to the middle for everything because god forbid NPC tanks can't handle positioning

The single-playerification of this game means everyone has to play with the same IQ as 2005 level AI.

Every relevant raid now is much more difficult than any raid in Stormblood.

Savage, and Ultimates ESPECIALLY.

Ultimates are not hard because they have harder mechanics, they're just far less recoverable in EW (compared to on-patch UCOB and UWU). But sure. They are the ONLY type of combat content that is harder in EW. (But that probably isn't true for saus legends)

Savages are absolutely not harder though lmao. But can't expect ShB babies to know much about raiding history in this game.

By the time 7.0 comes out, I'm thinking I'll be making a new alt to experience everything again, so it'll be great to play through Stormblood with the trust system as well, curious to see how they changed things.

Do it. Blowing up my old account, recreating with a skipped character, then blowing up that skipped character and starting over with a completely virgin character with a job I know next to nothing about has been some of the most fun I've had so far. ARR is a straight up remaster from what I remember-- Cape Westwind, Praetorium Bread, and Steps of Faith have been major highlights so far.

Sometimes seeing things for the first time the second time is the best way to experience things.
