    You should seek help If you really think Algaia is more engaging and less boring than spamming a different DT dungeon every 2 lvls imo. I do believe that every dungeon except the first one has more mechanics that require you to pay more attention in comparison to algaia.
    But thats not really the point. EXP gains are too high. Players that rarely log in have already most if not all jobs at 100. This doesnt only apply to Algaia but also to Bozja. Which is probably the reason why the new Zone is not made for alt leveling like Bozja.

    The point isn’t whether aglaia or vanguard is more interesting, the point is this change reduces choice for no benefit other than trying to enforce dumping more people into the roulettes which at this point half the vets see as a downside

    If they think people are getting Omni 100 too easily then nerf everything, but at an even rate so choice is retained, hell partially buff euphorsyne and thelia and let people choose any of them as an alternative levelling option

    As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.

    I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

    If I am honest, if they see the issue that people are getting omni too quickly, then they need to bring everything down... Roulette exp, dungeon exp, FATE exp, etc., and the question is why wait so long to make this change if this is the issue... Aglaia rewarding actual, measurable EXP was the talk of the town on launch <- That was 8 months ago. It takes around 70 days to get everything from 90-100 if you do nothing but roulettes, that's a small drop compared to how long it has taken to make this change.

    If their issue is the EXP is too significant then reduce the EXP so that it is marginally worse than a 91 dungeon, not so that the EXP gain is essentially worthless like all other alliance raids.. Having that element of choice is healthy for a game. (Apparently Square Enix beg to differ).

    Also people arguing that level 91 dungeons require 3 brain cells firing off electrical signals instead of the traditional 2 brain cells that Aglaia might require has got to be the most insane argument ever... Neither of them are exciting.

    The problem is there is no other choice. Algaia gives the best exp per minute especially on dps jobs if we take queuetimes into account.
    We dont know how big the nerf for the lvl 90 AR is. It would be perfect if the nerf to 90 and the buffs to 50,60,70,80 puts them in a spot were they are a viable alternative for leveling but not the best by 300% for the first few levels.

    Sure, but like you realize for them to make such a move they would have to have debated this for weeks and block out time on Yoshi P's calendar to debate this issue. This is a legacy, slow-moving Japanese company we're talking about after all. They would rather spend time debating nonsense like this than talking about literally anything substantial about the game.

    It's like the dumb SGE icon change. You know they would've talked about this for like a whole week. They even made a lodestone post out of it. This is modern day CBU3 folks. Just a studio that has no vision and sees no path forward and therefore engages in the minuscule, pointless changes to make it seem like they're even doing anything these days.
