The patch notes here have confirmed what we all wanted since the minimalist interior came out. Both the wall partitions and doors are included with this housing update. There are also some cute furnishings that will arrive too, I look forward to using them and I will also replace all the partitions inside Meow Mansion to match the minimalist interior :3


The ability to control SSAO is also helpful for those that have GPU's that struggle inside fully furnished homes.



Just having these matching partitions is already making me really excited for 7.2 :3

If I had to guess, I would say 7.3 at the earliest when they put in the item limit increase, assuming that doesn’t get pushed back even further. But if they don’t do it then, I really don’t expect to see it til 8.0. They said it was something they were working on but never gave a firm timeline.

I'm going around taking screenshots of the things I have on my walls that I will have to take down before replacing the partitions but I'm really excited to finally have matching partitions and doors. I will even save a few slots because of having to hide the partitions that didn't match just to use the doors.

Like Khryseis said, they never gave a firm date while the furnishing limit expansion was 7.2 or 7.3. Now with 7.2 almost here, the furnishing limit looks to arrive at 7.3 and for the interior size update, it looks to be 7.4 the earliest but could be 8.0.

Now, if only we could change Personal Chambers and Apartments to have the new minimalist walls... as it is I have to use up furnishing slots to manuall place a partions all around the edges of my room in order to have that look...

It's really bizarre that apartments and FC rooms didn't get the minimalist design. I hope it comes soon as that would free up slots not having to hide the edges and such.

The Minimalist Door Partition does NOT fit into the "Doorway" correctly, on the TOP floor of a Minimalist Interior Style mansion.

If you place the partition in the doorway, the outer wall part of the partition pokes out too far on both sides, basically, it is too "FAT".

The person who gave this furnishing the okay needs to be fired.

Yeah, I was disappointed with that too but in my case, it worked out because of my design so it didn't affect my home.

I wish they’d remove the interior windows. They give us all those new fake windows to decorate interiors but we still are still stuck with the old ugly windows which can be annoying to deal with
