    Melee DPS
    The core loop of melee gameplay hurts the identity of the 6 melee DPS. Jbs have the same basic 1-2-3 loop, Gap closers and disengagement tools, similar AoE rotations and a 60s or 120s burst window, and similar positional requirements. The 120 second meta has impacted how each class plays and their identity.

    Monk - Though now under Garlean rule, the city-state of Ala Mhigo once boasted the greatest military might of all Eorzea. Among its standing armies were the monks—ascetic warriors as dreaded by foes on the field of battle as the city-state's great pikemen. The monks comprised an order known as the Fist of Rhalgr, and it was to this god—the Destroyer—that they devoted their lives of worship. By mastering seats of power within the body known as chakra, they are capable of performing extraordinary physical feats.

    Monk absorbs incoming damage for 2 seconds and converts 50% of it into HP regeneration over 6 seconds.
    Vulnerable to tank busters.
    Effects: Allow for fluid gameplay and stricter movements during high end gameplay while allowing accessibility by introducing the free form stance giving players the ability to pick up the job.

    Dragoon - Of all the things that are symbolic of the nation of Ishgard, few are more recognized than the dragoon. Born amidst the timeless conflict between men and dragons, these lance-wielding knights have developed an aerial style of combat, that they might better pierce the scaled hides of their mortal foes.
    Taking to the firmament as though it were an extension of the land, they descend upon the enemy with every onze of their bodies behind the blow. It is this penetrative power that characterizes the dragoon.

    Reaper - The Garleans' forebears were once humble farmers who made their home among the sun-drenched fields of southern Ilsabard. That was, until they were driven from this paradise by invaders wielding arcane magicks. Forced north into the frigid mountains, the survivors sought a means to tap into the reservoir of aether otherwise closed to them. A daring few found their answer within the void, binding themselves to its creatures to gain verboten power─power fed by the souls of the slain. Once more they took up their scythes, this time to reap a crimson harvest.

    Viper (Hey Guys its Kirito!) – Among the myriad beasts of Tural, a select few awaken to preternatural power, becoming what are known as tural vidraal. To overcome the threat of these almighty beings, hunters studied one of nature's deadliest predators─one capable of overcoming foes greater even than themselves: the viper. They are swift and agile, with dual blades like fangs to bite, or combine into a single weapon to weave about the battlefield. Named for the serpent that inspired their fighting style, the vipers of Tural remain steadfast in their duty to defend the people.

    Physical Ranged DPS
    Ranged roles suffer from all feeling like support DPS instead of having different strengths. Buffs from BRD and DNC can feel underwhelming at times. The goal with the proposed adjustments is as follows.
    • Bard = Song-based dynamic support
    • Machinist = High DPS
    • Dancer = Reactive utility job.

    Bard - The word "bard" ordinarily puts folk in mind of those itinerant minstrels, fair of voice and nimble of finger, who earn their coin performing in taverns and the halls of great lords. Few know, however, that bards in fact trace their origins back to the bowmen of eld, who sang in the heat of battle to fortify the spirits of their companions. In time, their impassioned songs came to hold sway over the hearts of men, inspiring their comrades to great feats and granting peace unto those who lay upon the precipice of death.
    Songs – New Mechanic – Song Chains
    Mage’s Ballad: if a party member scores a Critical Hit, Bard gains a buff that boosts their next attack.

    Army’s Paeon: Grants “Battle Rhythm” - a stacking buff that increases Direct Hit rate and reduces recast times based on the number of stacks

    If Bard lands multiple critical hits during Wanderer’s Minuet, the song’s party buff could increase in potency.

    Harmonic Transition: If Bard transitions from one song to another within 1 GCD, "Resonant Echo", rewarding skillful play instead of just pressing the button on cooldown.
    Resonant Echo: gain 1 free use of an enhanced Empyreal Arrow with increased potency and 100% crit/DH chance.
    If Bard hits a target with a DoT effect before a song starts, it increases the proc rate of Pitch Perfect for that song duration

    Casters - Jobs have become increasingly simplified over time from reworks. The following will allow for increased complexity and giving each caster a more defined role.

    Black Mage - In days long past, there existed an occult and arcane art known as black magic—a potent magic of pure destructive force born forth by a sorceress of unparalleled power. Those who learned to wield this instrument of ruin came to be called black mages, out of both fear and respect for their gift. Yet great power served to corrupt the judgment of mortal man, and so he unknowingly set out upon the path of ruin.
    New Trait – Umbral Mastery
    • Increases the potency of umbral aspected magic by 20
    • Blizzard IV is instant cast when switching from astral fire.
    • Glacial Impact
      Increases the damage received by the next fire spell
    New Trait – Thunder Affinity
    For every 3 Fire IV cast increase the potency of the next thunder cast by 2% (stacks to 12%)
    New Mechanic – Astral Tempest
    • If Thunder is active when entering Astral Fire, Fire spells have a 10% chance to deal bonus lightning damage.
    • If Blizzard IV is active when entering Astral Fire, Fire spells cost slightly less MP, letting you extend Fire Phase longer. (Umbral Hearts)
    New Mechanic – Umbral Void
    Generate “Dark Echos” for each umbral aspected spell cast
    Max Stack: 3
    • Void Nova – A massive AoE burst that burns all Dark Echoes for high potency.
    • Black Ruin – A fast-casting, high-damage void attack, but costs Dark Echoes
    Scathe – Rework
    Elemental Scathe – Changes Based on Current Phase
    • During Astral Fire → Scathe becomes Flame Scathe (150 potency, causes minor AoE explosion)
    • During Umbral Ice → Scathe becomes Frost Scathe (100 potency, slows target by 20% for 6s)
    New Ability – Dark Offering
    • Type: Spell
    • Cast Time: 8.0s (Cannot be shortened by Swiftcast or Triplecast)
    • HP Cost: 20%
    • MP Cost: ALL Remaining MP
    • Cooldown: 600s (10 minutes)
    • Effect: Revives one fallen ally with 50% HP and 1000 MP, but applies “Cursed Rebirth” for 30s, preventing them from receiving direct healing
