Big lag spikes with ISP during afternoons EU servers (Light and Chaos)

    Hello.

Since around December/January I have been having very high ping almost everyday consistently from around 6 PM to 8 PM.

In game other players literally teleport around the screen, freeze mid air and spells and skills cast with delay, boss attacks and telegraphs dont even appear or appear after already taken damage.

These spikes last 3-4 seconds and repeat every few seconds over and over.

Resoruce manager says 150-250 ms ping, while I usually sit between 30-55ms.

Tracert gives some request timed out lines.

I tried resetting router many times, even powering it off for 10 minutes.
Tried switching from Ethernet to Wifi, even using another computer, reinstalling ff14, updating all sorts of drivers to no avail.

I called my isp provider and they told me they cant find the issue, they even manually opened the connection ports to ff14 servers from my router, to no results.

I tried to play other online games and mmos at the same time as Ff14 is running and having these lag spikes, and those other games have zero lag, so that could confirm its a problem between isp and ff14 servers, not isp as a whole.

I dont know much more about connection stuff and I dont know what else to try, but here are some of my data for additional troubleshooting:

    -ISP Provider: Orange (Spain)
    -Platform: Steam
    -Wired connection directly to router
-No other programs are used when this lag spike happens (Other than testing purposes I mentioned before, when the issue was confirmed without using programs)
-I tried other characters and other accounts, still happens
-1000 mbps Symmetrical Internet (This speed is unchanged when having lag)
-No other devices connected to this router or connection
-I have been with this ISP for a long time and none of this happened before winter, and the router is brand new.

Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

We apologize for any inconvenience experienced when trying to play Final Fantasy XIV. For us to better assist you, please respond with the following information:

    Please provide:
    - How often do you experience lag?
    - Are there any specific locations/areas that you notice more lag?
    - Is a VPN being used when this occurs?

Additionally, our team would like to suggest the following troubleshooting:

Open the control panel of the PC and go to ‘Network and Internet’. Once there select ‘Internet Options’
    - Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
    - Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
    - Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
    - Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
    - Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
    - Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
    - Right-Click on the FFXIV launcher icon and select "Properties"
    - Hit "Apply", then "OK" to save the changes.
    - Please RESTART your PC now. Once your PC has been restarted, Right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator"
*Make sure your fire wall or antivirus program is not interfering with the game

Lastly, check to see if the following port ranges are opened on your router. You can contact your ISP and request they open them for you. Please confirm with your ISP that the following ports were the ones opened:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040
Try disabling background applications and do a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the “Start up” tab. Disable everything and then restart the PC.
Lastly, we suggest to power cycle the console and router by shutting down the Router and leaving the power supply unplugged for 5-10 minutes.
